At the heart of what I do, I love connecting with people to understand the essence of their brand and translating that into stunning photographs.
Today i attended the 6th annual women-owned business day, hosted by the women’s business development council. it was an amazing morning of networking, listening to panel discussions by established and inspiring women business owners. i honestly had no idea that there were so many of us in this small state! i’m so proud to be an entrepreneur, and one big takeaway that i got out of today was the importance of supporting your peers, not thinking of them as competitors, and mentoring others along their own journey. i’ve been blessed to have many strong female mentors (thank you margaret lazarus and julie bidwell), and inspired by many others! don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and go after a dream. you just need to back that dream up with hard work, planning, and building a community of supportive people. all you female leaders and entrepreneurs, i see you and admire you! 📷 by @adamcoppola
A while back i headed to wtnh in new haven to photograph jocelyn maminta for a cover story in the brand-new connecticut magazine ct voice. ct voice is the state’s premiere lgbtq magazine and the first issue just launched! go grab it now!
My baby is 1 year old! i have so many mixed emotions. it's truly hard to believe that a year has gone by. i still feel that i should be on maternity leave and spending every day snuggling with my little man — though now he's always moving around so it's hard to get him in the snuggle! we do not live in a country that values the time we bond with our children, or mental health or vacation, so i feel truly lucky that i have a flexible schedule and the ability to spend quality time with my son. i think back to this day one year ago, and it changed me forever. this is one of my favorite photos i took of him. he has always stared right into your soul. it wasn't taken with a fancy camera or a fancy lens, but i love it.
One year ago today i was bursting with excitement as my due date inched closer. i finished editing my last job that afternoon, went home to relax on the couch, and as i was laying there i heard a pop and felt a weird sensation. i thought i had peed my pants initially, but no, it was my water breaking and the start of the very exciting birthing process. 24 hours later, our little man arrived.
