to most it’s just another wod but i really looked forward to retesting this workout every so often.
the first time i did this workout in april i was at about 170+ bpm the entire workout. it took me 37 minutes and at the time was one of the hardest workouts i have done. that’s when i decided that it wasn’t enough to just go to the gym. it was time to start thinking the stuff that happens outside the gym like nutrition and sleep.
when i did the wod yesterday it took me 32 minutes and stayed under 160bpm the entire time. at no point did i feel like i was going to die and it was my 2nd wod of a two and a half hour long session yesterday.

emily has made huge improvements to her health and fitness since starting ticker training at crossfit treetown. since starting, she has managed to lose 30 pounds while gaining strength and an aerobic base. emily comes to class regularly and has put so much work into improving her lifts and technique. she has been focusing on her body composition and nutrition with claire, but her work ethic and commitment are what make her a star ⭐️. can’t wait to see what else this young woman can accomplish! 👊
