School is out, kids are running in the door, & i just put my makeup on. since it’s taco tuesday 🌮 i thought i would look decent being seen in public. who else is eating tacos for dinner?! it’s my husbands favorite. for me, i sticking with a bean & rice burrito 🌯
After having my 5th baby i was wondering if my body would “bounce” back. at this point in my life i’ve never been so content with my body. i didn’t really stress about getting back to my pre-baby body. but here my baby is at 6 1/2 months and my body seems to be responding. why?! i’m giving it the love it deserves. i’m eating healthy as far as limiting processed foods & sugar, and exercising 5-6 days a week for only 20-30 minutes at a time. i’m feeling super proud of myself and honestly it’s the strength i feel that matters more than appearance.
It’s saturday and i’m in the clean out mood! do you ever get those? ladies my feet grew with my last baby, not with the other four but the last baby! so shoe clean out it is! 🥿👠👢👟 can you guess how many pairs i have? i’ll give you a glance in my stories 👀
“mom you got sweat on me”
sorry harlow. 😅
today’s workout made me think about something that i have to share! when we work on ourselves physically we transform. i’m not talking about weight loss or the way we look with makeup on! i’m talking about how we are able to let who we truly are shine bright ✨
we feel better ❤️ ladies there is nothing wrong with getting a little sweaty or putting makeup on to feel better. it does amazing things to your confidence and boosts your energy!
“challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new center of gravity. don’t fight them. just find a new way to stand” - oprah
there are always challenges that come to play in my everyday living. sometimes i find myself fighting them. strength comes when i allow myself to push through.
do you feel you find more strength when you push through the challenges you face?!
This little man did not want me to put him down yesterday. so everything was done with a sidekick on my hip. even though it can be hard i think about when he is going to be real big (maybe 6’4” like my twin brother) and he will be holding me 😍
Hi 👋🏻 i’m chelsea and since there is some new followers here i thought i would tell you some fun facts about me!
1️⃣ i’m a twin and my brother pretty much took the youngest child award away from me by 30 minutes 😆
2️⃣ i love golf! golf is what has connected me with so many amazing friends and is how i met my husband. and yes we did get married at a golf course
3️⃣ my mom raised 5 kids while owning her own business and never thought that i too would have 5 kids to raise while owning my own business 👩🏼🦱👩🏽👩🏻🦱👧🏻👶🏼
4️⃣ i grew up in a salon 💇🏼 and love seeing women feel beautiful after receiving a salon service. not sure if it really is the service or just the connection they get during.
5️⃣ i love to eat carrots and peanut butter! yes, together 🥕🥜 that’s just a little about me. i would love to hear something fun about you. 👇🏻
My oldest daughter definitely challenges my parenting. but i had to write about something as a reminder. about a month ago we were celebrating everyone in the family. saying what we were proud of for each other. i was in tears after listening to all of my girls but what london had to say about me was really something. “i love how mom has grit & determination” yes she used those words. “when she says she is going to do something, she does it”
wow! did she really just say that? i’m so honored that my 10 year old can see that in me.
last week i did a sugar free week and everyday i was faced with something sweet that i said no to. yesterday she gave me a high ten and said how she was proud of me. here i was following through with something i said i would do and she was able to see it happen!
thanks for always being my cheerleader xoxo 😘
