***news update*** last week, i attended a course to learn the reflexology lymph drainage technique and i am very much looking forward to sharing this with you. "rld is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. the aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. it is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by sally kay bsc(hons), whilst working in cancer care." as well as lymphoedema, rld has benefitted individuals with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, such as fibromyalgia, migraines, post-operative recovery and arthritis.

👣😰👣migraine awareness week 👣😰👣 prolonged headaches and migraines have debilitating effects. at their worst, some migraines can last up to several days, making working, eating, looking after kids near impossible, some also involve vomiting and staying in a dark room until it passes.
there are many causes of migraine - some of the biggest culprits can include hormonal changes, tiredness, and stress.
for many, reflexology can be invaluable in helping migraine sufferers manage their overall wellbeing with regular treatments helping regulate hormonal fluctuations and reducing general stress levels. importantly, self-treatment in between sessions (toolkit tips given by reflexologist for self care) can help relieve a migraine at the first sign or symptom. booking a emergency session with a reflexologist also helps by reducing tension in neck, head and shoulders and therefore provides some immediate relief.

Today i took doggy for a long walk through the forest and i admit coming out into the clearing quite fast as my pace matched my overthinking mind. yes, i put my hand up and admit my thoughts were crowded with meetings, to do list before my son moves to uni in a couple of days etc. as realisation dawned on me, i stood rooted to the spot facing the sun, closed my eyes, took a couple of deep breaths and refocused on connecting to nature and staying in the present moment for the remainder of the walk. within a minute of setting my intention, those 2 wonderful deers came into view and entertained me for 10 minutes (dog was good as gold watching too which was quite incredible). i apologise for the quality of the video but it was just what i needed to reset my day. i hope you enjoy it too and have a great day x*x #mothernature#mothernaturerocks#mindfulness#resetbutton#calming#soothing#simplybeautiful#balfron
