It’s our last market of the season on saturday and in the spirit of surviving the the harsh, produce-less summer we’re bringing a big batch of our homemade kimchi. or make your own. i just harvested a boat load of napa cabbage so your own kitchen can be stinky. we got what you need: napa, scallions, daikon, and some legit chili paste by @plantmatterplant.

The weeds are eating my lettuce. this happens every year. our energy wanes. the nursery is empty. the cold fronts are just farts from north. the moths win.....just a couple weeks left til we put this field (and our tired feet) to rest
Farewell to dan and tessa. they’re leaving the farm and off to guatemala to join the peace corp. woot! they’re two of my dearest friends and have helped me beyond words over the last few years. all this food couldn’t happen without them. seeing their cheery faces at sunrise, all those harvest mornings, always put me at ease. what’s to stress when you’ve got dan and tess?!!. (ooooh that’s a good one). i love you guys and hope one day we can have one of those epic farm lunches again.
