@hollieharm here with my last post of the takeover. the isle of mull is famous for its eagle population and i’d only been on the island for half an hour before i spotted a golden eagle soaring high in the sky. i wasn’t able to capture it on camera though, so you’ll have to make do with this ‘eagle’s-eye’ view instead.
that’s it for my takeover. i hope you enjoyed my photos from the isle of mull. i only had a glimpse of what the island has to offer, and a second longer visit is definitely in the planning!
The landscape on mull is some of the best i’ve seen, and it was brilliant to experience it at this time of year, the winter colours were simply stunning. the weather can change quite quickly though, 5 minutes before i took this shot we had been enjoying some glorious morning sunshine. @hollieharm#takeover#hiddenscotland
When you get on to the island you notice straight away how much quieter it is to the mainland. once the ferry traffic quickly disappears down the a849 you soon find yourself on your own with just the open road ahead of you. @hollieharm#takeover#hiddenscotland
@hollieharm here with my second post of the takeover. i always enjoy traveling by boat or ferry… the sound of the waves crashing, the fresh sea air and the unique perspective you get of the surrounding landscape. this is eilean musdile lighthouse which you pass on the crossing over to mull
Hey, i’m @hollieharm and i’ll be taking over the @hiddenscotland account, sharing a few images from my latest visit to the scotland and a day trip to the isle of mull.
we set off early to catch the first ferry over, it was freezing out on deck, but the morning light was beautiful, a perfect start to the day!
