This is so funny to hear for me. jared just reminded me how many times i’ve been fired. really? you’re going to bring that up now? 🏋️♀️
i don’t think i was ever meant to work for anyone else although i did do that and have a pretty lengthy resume.
my first real job where i got paid legally was @burgerking. i got fired after 3 months because i wasn’t fast enough.
then i worked @wendy’s for 2 days prepping food and got fired because i didn’t want to chop the onions. (who would)
then i worked at at grocery stores (waldbaums) and got fired because i use the store’s code to give a customer a discount during the thanksgiving week and she ended up winning a free turkey.
so needless to say, i learned that i wasn’t built to work for anyone but myself. i simply cannot follow anyone’s rules but my own and i like to make things up as i go along. this is why i love my business and i love it that’s it online and i don’t need to go anywhere and sit in traffic like i did for years. 👍🏻
what’s even better is that you can do it too. how cool would it be if you could work for yourself and play however you want in the playground? shoot me a message and i’ll tell you more.
What a week i had this week i can’t believe it and screaming from the top of my lungs. you probably saw my igtv in the beginning of the week i had to go for a kidney ultrasound and then on thursday i received the most incredible news i have ever heard.
who would have thought that sticking to a healthy diet and exercise was going to improve my health and possibly add more years to my life to see my kids grow old.
last week jared & i did not watch our diet & took the time off during thanksgiving. we decided to take another challenge and signed up for our first #fitnesscompetition •🏋️♀️
monday i weighed in at 128.6 needless to say that s****d but i was ok since monday we began our prep & followed #bodybeast nutrition plan to the t. today saturday morning i weighed in at 123.2. •🏋️♀️
that’s 5.3 pounds down. wow. just shows how bad all the restaurant food is for our bodies when you don’t follow a specific nutrition plan and measure out your food. •🏋️♀️
not just that but a healthy diet & exercise helped with my #kidneydisease. •💫
obviously i’m not a doctor nor a scientist & we have no idea what helps but all i have is a comparison from my moms life & mine. she didn’t do what i’m doing & now i will never stop nor will i ever stop promoting & inspiring you to try the same. •💫

this girl @feisty4fitness inspired me on this day. i watched her prep & workout & she had two gorgeous girls. if she can do it, i am inspired to do it & you can do it. •
it just takes a mind. our beautiful mind to get in the #mindset to invest in your health mentally and physically. and it starts with just 15 minutes a day. •
no one is that busy unless it’s a brain surgeon that can’t find 15 minutes a day to do jumping jacks or go for a brisk walk or workout at home to this app i’m using. •

I used to be so scared to work shoulders! #shoulderworkout • @futuremrsmyself and i used to make fun of it that it would build too much muscle on top. but now that i learned how to workout with this app, i’m not scared or worried anymore. in fact, i love shoulder day. you can see the definition in my arms & shoulders. •

I remember how hard it was picking out that red dress. i was so uncomfortable in my skin, insecure, depressed & heartbroken that no one asked me to the prom. just sharing this is depressing & sad. but truth be told, it was not the best time of my life. ‘
my mom didn’t even go shopping with me cause she’s was always at work & i was not the best clothes picked for my body type and @spanx hadn’t been invented yet. ‘
when i started college, i started drinking beer ( don’t judge you drank too) and only got bigger & bloated. i had no idea that i was #glutenfree back then doctors only said ibs which was total bs. ‘
it wasn’t until i became a mom and realized i’ve been too big, for too long & feeling insecure in my own skin had to stop! •
it’s bad enough i have #kidneydisease & i’m not far from it growing & taking over my body. i have a choice to either live my life & feed my body well or keep crying about it. there’s no excuse not too. —————————————come join my challenge group. i’ll share my best tips, recipes, give you accountability & encourage to commit to yourself. dec 5th is a week away. dm me for details.

Now that our favorite holiday is over and you probably ate 4,500 cal like i did in one sitting you must be wondering how to work that off? which of the below will you do? let me know!
-here are my go to tips. •
1 - if you ate mainly protein and less carbs then you would do strength training •
2 - mashed potatoes more then turkey, then do 30 min of cardio. i went snowboarding to burn off the pasta i had •
3- green bean casserole is one of my faves, even though it’s a vegetable & generally low in calories it all depends on how it was prepared right? well if yours had as much butter as my appetizer then you may want to jump-rope for 20 minutes. •
4. there’s nothing better then sweet potato on thanksgiving especially when it’s smothered with my favorite candy, marshmallows. well after a dish like that, you better be going for a speed walk. •
if you’re like me & either saved the leftovers or took them with you, there’s morning worse then eating that much food the next day. so pick & choose your must haves and put them i to portion control tupperware so you can eat without the guilt.

brief story: we met online dec 22, 2007, our zero date was saturday jan 5,2008 which lasted only 2 hours long. a glass of wine & a mediterranean appetizer, we both had plans w/other friends. two hours later he calls & wants to c me again. that never happened to me before. 1st guy to show interest right away instead of waiting 3 days but i know what you’re thinking. 10 yrs later going strong
1st date monday 1/7/08 we went to the gym @crunchgym & sushi that’s when we both knew that we were meant to be. (he was 199 pounds!!) have you ever been on a 1st date to the gym? i’d love to hear... please comment below. 💫
that was the 1st day of the rest of our lives until a few weeks later he said, “ it’s important to me to be in a healthy relationship” and that’s when i was faced with my kidney truth. mom screaming at me don’t you dare tell him & i knew if you love someone, you let them free if if it’s not meant to be. i shared, i had too, it was the right thing to do. not going to lie, it took him 2 days of google while i was on pins & needles but ultimately he was supportive & compassionate & took this journey with me. •
i can’t say the same about other guys i’ve met. when you find true love & overcome tough challenges that’s how you know!!! #hestheone#myshoe#mypenguin#kidneydiseasesucks
