I never really wait for things, i go get them. if there's one thing that yoga has taught me, it's that i am able to create exactly what i want in life, and that i do not have to be afraid to step into my power of creation. i take time to be still, meditate and visualise what i'd like to manifest for the good of myself and everyone else. then i consistently take action to make those dreams a reality. visualisation on its own is a powerful tool, but it's useless if it isn't combined with proper action in the world. many yogi's struggle with that grounded aspect of business, finances and manifesting in the physical world. i think sirsasana is one of those great grounding practices that helps with becoming more centered and able to take constructive action. #sirsasana 🙌 where are you struggling to make your dreams a reality? what do you feel needs to change?
Let me just clarify something: when you want to heal yourself, sometimes you have to isolate yourself from people, from destructive situations, from excessive pleasure. because you have to look deep within to find out why you are suffering. however, once you have reached a point of inner balance, happiness, strength, there's really nothing you can't do. you can go clubbing, you can drink, you can enjoy life to the max. why? because you know who you are, you are not attached, you are free. healing yourself comes with practice, sacrifice, difficulty at times. being healed, whole inside, comes with ultimate experience of life. fun, sunshine, happiness, enjoyment. the yogi's call it bhoga. i call it living life as an actualized, self-aware human, who can do whatever the hell he/she pleases, and be abundant, joyful, successful and emotionally independent. for me yoga served that purpose. i hope it will do for you too ❤

Sharing some authentic moments of how my dreams became reality. i used to live in the algarve, portugal, in an old volkswagen lt 28 with a bed in it and a tiny gas cooker. i taught yoga on the beach and in a small room with a little electric heater in winter. my students loved yoga. i made 15 dollars per class more or less. it was a beautiful time in my life, yet after a few years of this i started feeling unfulfilled and insecure about my financial future as a yoga instructor. i wanted to do something bigger, more profound and more sustainable for myself and others. it took me a looooooonnng time to get out of the poverty consciousness that most people on the spiritual path carry. looking back at these images, i say thanks to all the beautiful things i have managed to create with the help of the divine and the support of the amazing united arab emirates i now call a true home. so many people have been affected by these yoga teachings, i couldn't have wished for a better profession and bringing this yoga style to the middle east has been such a rewarding process. now a new dream has emerged, as i'm about to embark on the adventure of launching my own clothing label, and i wonder what life will look like in 6 years from now. i did not grow up with encouragement to do all these things, nor financial support, neither am i close to my family, i had to leave a lot of things behind, had to be brave and definitely faced a lot of struggles along the way. however, i think those difficulties truly make us stronger and for me i just always want to do better, for myself, and for people, to make the world a little bit more beautiful each and every day 💙
a little reminder to all of you that nothing is impossible. i came to the uae 6 years ago with less than 500 usd in my pocket, no visa and no friends, only a dream. never think that what you dream of is impossible, it might be hard at first, but surely you can create exactly what you want! ❤
