As you can probably tell from my (lack of) posts, i haven’t been consistent at all with my training. i’ve been maybe lifting 2x/week up until now. .
this week has actually been my first time going three(!) times in a while, but my first training day of squats with absolutely zero back pain. .
the weights aren’t heavy still, but i used to feel it even when just using the bar. i gotta give a big thank you to @miggsybogues again for helping me with this issue 😁😁😁
if you don’t already know, he’s a crazy knowledgeable guy and a great coach.

The weight is light, but my back is pain free, so there’s only up to go 😁 .
today i realized my almost 4 months of back pain was cured by a bit of anatomy knowledge that i apparently am rusty with πŸ˜¬πŸ˜…
@miggsybogues taught me about how the hamstrings control pelvic movement, and showed me how to fix my improper pelvic movement. funny enough, i knew something was wrong with my hips during my squat, but just couldn’t figure out what it was. .
also, @hamstringpapi reminded me to keep an active foot in his story yesterday(?), which is another thing i forgot during the past few months. .
sometimes, you just need to get back to the basics πŸ˜‡
