210kg squats 8 reps x10 sets to start legs today .
this is why i prefer to train arms instead 😅
p.s i did some bicep curls after this to ensure no arms gains were lost 😂kidding😂
it was a good grind today . energy levels weren’t at its peak but still push through . it all starts from the mind. all i had to do was think about the tasty kfc i could be enjoying after 😅
in all seriousness ,i like to think about my goals . i am currently programming on my powermass program (link in my bio) so i got numbers to hit and it’s something that definitely helps me get through my sessions on rough days🙏🏽
what do you do when your energy levels aren’t there , or you don’t feel like training to push you through to complete your workout?
One of the questions frequently asked are how do you stay lean all year round?
personally i think it all comes down to management of -
1.diet 🍟🤤 2.energy output ⚡️🏋🏽♀️⛹️♀️ diet 🍟🤤
when it comes to eating to stay lean it comes down to sustainability of your diet. regardless of how much magic you have if you can’t stick to the plan there won’t be results . now if we looking at a long period of time , being on a strict meal plan can sometimes be hard to do forever . being able to have balance definitely plays a great role. now there’s different ways to do this based on the person . some people would prefer to have cheat meals with set day . some people would prefer a percentage of their meal plans that come from whole foods and others that don’t , you can also include foods that promote f*t burning too to help balance this out . i don’t want to go on and on but another thing to consider which is really important is your digestion as that can change how you look in just a few hours .
energy output ⚡️
it’s crazy how much of a difference this makes . most people may think it’s only just the time you spend at the gym that’s important but it’s more than that . one thing you have to take into consideration is how active your job is . if your job isn’t very active be sure to add some extra cardio or volume to your training or even take some time to go for a walk etc as that makes a huge difference . ————————————————————

“don’t let your past define your future “ - the reason i like this quote is because it lets us know that we can always learn and be better. being human means making mistakes and not being “perfect “ . being a better person means learning from your mistakes and trying to improve. what i’m trying to say is if you have had a bad day or you’re going through a lot remember that “the past doesn’t necessarily have to define your future” you always have the opportunity to learn , grow and be better! just checking in fam! have a blessed day . much love and respect 🙏🏽 —————————————————————————— the sexy apparel i’m wearing is by the only and only @ryderwear - use my code “kwame10” at check out or visit www.ryderwear.com.au/kwame to have your discount automatically applied to your entire purchase 🔥
Love doing this exercise and love arm day hehe. who doesn’t love arms. do you train your arms with heavy weight or lighter to medium weight ?i personally do both. what weight do you use for training arms?🔥 @bsnaustralia@bsnsupplements amino x always fueling my sessions and helping me to ensure through longer sessions💪🏽👊🏽
200kg squats 8 reps x 10 sets straight out of my power mass program (link in bio) started off my leg session before the rest of my workout. can see my strength improving as i go not only with my squats but other movements too. i have a love hate relationship with leg day but i don’t mind squats what is your favourite leg exercise? do you squat on leg day??
If you want to help make biceps a “strength “so you can smash job interviews (in reference to my last post 😅) try this 😅 make sure you tag your mates so they don’t miss out and hit that save button so you have it all ready for arms day .
i love hitting heavy slow negatives or eccentrics on the preacher . this is where most of your microscopic tears happen during the eccentric phase of your lifts . you’re also stronger in your eccentric phase and one way to increase tension is to slow down your reps. personally this is what i would do on these sets .
arms day everyday 🔥
180 kg front squats x 2 new personal best . it’s great to see all my lifts increase from my powermass program (link in my bio ) seriously feeling stronger by the day and looking forward to combining my program with my mini shred as the olympia expo gets closer ;) 👌
p.s i hate front squats lol but i do them anyway cause i know the benefits of them 😂😅 what’s your most hated exercise?
The grind never stops. day in and out we out there chasing our goals! depending on what our goals are we often have to do one thing ( hardwork) be successful 🙏🏽 keep working hard fam keep up the grind ———————————————————————————
