Mental part of training - do we always feel motivated- if i’m being honest the answer is no. so how do we motivate our selves to pick up some iron and train. okay the answer is simple...one word “goals”
some days i may not feel like training or i’ll start training and my mind would be somewhere else. this is where it is important to start thinking about our goals. one way i bring back focus is to get my headphones in and walk lightly on the treadmill . now i put on some of my favourite tunes and start thinking about my goals i have set myself and how good it would be to achieve it as well as remembering how great the feeling is when you have a solid session 👌
what is your goal? how do you motivate yourself to train hard and smash your goals?
Leg day today : my training was focused around slow heavy movements for volume . i found i could get some solid reps in and could really feel the muscles working , however a much greater mental challenge to keep pushing. what did you train today ? time to get a little more leaner stay tuned fam👊🏽 my workout was fueled by @bsnsupplements@bsnaustralia amino x
Question -: would you rather be able to eat all the kfc or junk food in the world and stay the way you are now or not have that option but have the ability to improve your physique of course with hard work ..think hard 😅
So it was shoulder day today and of course had to hit some triceps because....arms day everyday 😅 great sesh and a good combination of time undertension and volume work with medium weight what did you train ?
Trained back today and finished off with some biceps because...arms every day 😅 kidding but i do love training arms the pump makes it feel less painful than legs 😂
okay so what did i do for training today . it was based around a lot of rowing movements with heavy weights and high intensity . also getting a good squeeze . finished off with some high rep dead lifts lat pull downs and time under tension .
here are 3 key things i would address if my diet wasn't working .. 📌loyalty-am i being completely faithful to my diet or occasionally cheating on it . when you formulate your diet based on using a scientific approach you will usually have a caloric range , macro range etc at which you can eat. sometimes specific foods you can and can't eat depending on the diet. of course there are millions of diets out there and there's been millions proven to work . the real problem is are we going half arsed or are we going hard! ☑️. 📌digestion - we all know digestion plays a huge role with how nutrients are absorbed and also promotion of f*t loss , weight gain etc . having digestive issues is a huge part that needs to be addressed before jumping on any diet plan. make sure you fix it . remember the 'gut' is your second brain '. if you have a problem there your body ain't going to be functioning well. .☑️. 📌metabolism - we've heard people have fast or slow metabolism. but metabolism is such a big word 😏( try saying it as fast as you can repeatedly) . ok so metabolism generally means the chemical effects going on inside your body's cells to keep normal functioning in the body or some may say "homeostasis".basically the ability for your foods to be broken down for energy use (catabolism) is one part and the second is anabolism which is where the nutrients derived are used to build and repair your body. you can see how if you have a problem here it can affect your ability to gain muscle (anabolism of muscles , catabolism of food) , loose f*t or fuel your fitness goals. make sure it's in check as it plays a key role.
