This is perhaps my earliest memory of ludoland 💙
until this day, i didn't know that ludoland was a place... 🤔
but one day i was picked up by two humans who smothered me with love. i said goodbye to my beagle siblings including my sis @eviebeagle and i was taken to my forever home 🏡
this, my friends, was to become ludoland 🐶
i mean, really... it happened in a matter of hours, simply by beagling something 🙈😂
it was a big day for a small hound and full of new things. new smells, new toys, a new drinking bowl, a new bed...
and maybe best of all, new humans! i fell asleep in humum's arms within an hour of exploring my new home. can you spot half-smile bear sitting there beside me? he had a full smile back then 🙊
this, my friends, is my memory of #grumpsterpuppyhood 🙃
What a day to be a hound! 🤗
every now and then in a hound's life, a day comes along that really knocks the beagly white socks off you 🐾
well friends, today was one of those days... i met the beautiful and beagly @je_suis_jensen ! 🐶
he saw me as i saw him...
i was sniffing a tree and he was sniffing a bin.
my humum said... 'is that jensen?' as his said 'is that ludo?!' 🙈😂
and there we were, two wagging tails and four caramel ears between us! 🙉
we looked at each other and took it all in, from our black beagly nose to the tips of our tails!
and then friends, then we walked around the park together! it was so funny to be trotting along and look across to see jensen wagging his tail just like me! ☺️
we shared the drinking fountain and eventually went off on our seperate ways.
when this afternoon arrived, as the afternoon always does... i got to pondering in my pondering spot. i wondered if perhaps, hounds who share the fountain together, beagle together? like... maybe bffs.... beagly friends forever 🤔
it's something worth mulling over.
like i said friends... what a day to be a hound! 💙
swipe across to see our fun! the last two are from @je_suis_jensen 🙃
What is the strangest name for a hound that you've heard? 🤔
today on my walk i met two different dogs along the way.
the first dog was called dumpling. dumpling was part pug and he had a little squishy face and small foldy ears 🙈
humum laughed at the idea of calling out 'dumpling!' at the dog park 😂
but i thought perhaps dumpling suited him. he sort of looked like a little four legged dumpling... and if i'm being quite frank about things, then yes... perhaps there was an element of hearing the word dumpling and feeling a little peckish for a snack 🙃
anywho, the second dog i came across was called peter.
no fuss, no frills... just peter.
peter was an australian blue heeler and appeared to be well behaved. in fact, i don't know if peter would ever have beagled anything in his life!? 🙄
a little later on, i pondered about peter and also about dumpling 🐶
you see, it made me wonder what's better...
to be named after humans or to be named after food?! 😋
