I just wanted to give a huge thank you to anyone that donated, shared, or simply cheered us on for my birthday and #givingtuesday fundraiser for the solutions project. together, we raised enough to deploy 5 air quality monitors in vulnerable communities or install solar street lights in cities like highland park, michigan, where lights were taken away for mismanagement. you’re helping make the world a greener, safer place for generations to come 🌎 @100isnow
This is one of the many beautiful & revitalizing things to come out of the culturally & politically historical event of standing rock & its revolutionary threads that are moving in many directions throughout the world. a big thank you to the people of standing rock for making this happen.
#repost: @chiefeye "revolution of prayer and peace igniting the world to take care of mother earth and for the next 7 generations to come, paving the way for the world to use and prosper the right way." what very emotional day today for me. we put the last panels up on indigenized energy's solar farm today in cannon ball, nd on standing rock. it was an amazing sight to see. this solar farm is only located 3 miles from dakota access pipeline and 2 miles from where oceti sakowin camp was. this will offset electricity in cannon ball for the youth activity gym which housed over 1500 veterans during the protest and had showers for campers. and the veterans memorial building in cannon ball which makes over 80 meals a day for our elderly in our community. we look to turn the switch on jan 1, 2019.. stay tuned... indigenized energy is bringing solar to standing rock.. "instead of waiting for change, we decided to create it".
