Three more days of daycare for this guy and then he’s starting at the school where his big brother and sister went.
we’ve been biking to daycare on the nicer days (when i don’t have an early morning meeting) and it’s made me realize the simple pleasures of life. yes, it requires more effort on my part but it starts both of our days off on the right foot.
what’s your not-so-guilty daily ritual?
I want to run along right beside her and never look back.
i usually post smiling happy photos of my kids and our family. and while most of the time we are having a great time, this year has been especially tough for us.
my husband and i have had to teach our kids about illness, death, mental health, compassion and how to say a final goodbye. it seems as though we have been hit with a run of bad luck and just when we think we’ve seen it all we are hit again.
it’s been hard. many tears have been shed. our life is anything but perfect. but our love holds us together.
i only show the good, because sometimes the bad is too hard, and something that i like to keep close and not shout out to the world. i consider myself to be a pretty private person but with all that’s gone in in the world of late, we all need a reminder that life is never instagram picture perfect. 💔
we must go through almost 8l a week in my house. i recently switched to organic and suddenly my grocery bills have sky rocketed. any tips on where to shop locally? the best deal i’ve found to date is costco. but still 💸...
