Feeling like i could use friday right about now but these three make me want to savor the moment.
too much work, too much running around and too much doggy drama (back to the vet today), but i'll take too much of this crew any day.
This morning i was too busy with work to take that 9am sigh of relief.
so i'm taking it now.
better late than never, especially after a jam packed weekend.
what do you do in those first few moments of silence on a monday morning?
Saturday...they'll be ready for you...just as soon as they wake up!
why do they always choose to sleep in on the day when we have to rush to the pool for swimming lessons? i try to stay away from pre-planned weekend activities but going to the pool solo after school seemed like a bit too much for me to bite off on a weekly basis.
how do you like to spend your weekend as a family? running from activity to activity or just hanging out in pjs and hibernating?
Because sometimes you just need a good bum shot to brighten up your day.
norman is home now resting (and limping). it's going to be a long road to recovery but we're all happy to have him home. especially this guy who went right up to him to give him a welcome pat.
I don't often post about my fourth child. the one who always greets me at the door with a wagging tail and definitely demands the least of my time.
for the past two months he has been on strict rest with a hurt leg. tomorrow he goes for knee surgery. 2 weeks before he's walking, 6 weeks before he can go for a real walk and 3 months before he can play with other dogs.
the recovery will be a long one and the cost could be a family vacation but as a member of our family we didn't give it a second thought. what's the craziest thing you've ever done for a furry friend?
Looking back at the weekend, and feeling utterly exhausted (mainly from lack of sleep). eagerly awaiting 8:45am when i sit down at my desk and take in the first quiet moment in 48hrs 😉how has being a mom changed your outlook on monday's?
Decided to switch things up and move furniture around last weekend when we were hanging out at home. this guy seems to like the couch's new location, especially for basking in the sun.
what little changes do you make to your home decor to keep things fresh?
Three kids at the pool solo this morning. helping each of them change after their lessons without having this little guy get wet and slide on the slippery floors.
i'm going to need a weekend after the weekend...
Couldn't be happier to see friday come after a week spent indoors with gastro. we were hit (3/5, myself included) for the second time in a few months and was it ever tough.
so we're ready to take on the weekend and explore our city. if you've noticed i have been posting weekend activities in my stories every friday night. what do you think? helpful and adventure-inspiring or just more clutter in your insta-stories. i would love to hear your opinion
It may be a halloween costume but she can still do her makeup better than i can.
when did 8.5 become the new 13? now that girls are on fast forward when are we supposed to start talking to them about things like monthly visits, bras and, gulp, the birds and the bids?
any tips for a scared mom? unfortunately this fright won't disappear after halloween...
Kids and hotels.
it really doesn't matter what city they are in or if they need to share a bed. give them a pool, a waffle machine at breakfast and a magnetic key and they are in heaven.
what are you kids' favourite hotel amenities?
Spent the day on a field trip with this goof ball.
when one of the girls in his class told me that he does random things to make her laugh i totally knew she was talking about my kid.
I'm starting to realize that my baby isn't a baby anymore. at almost 18 months old he is a little man who says goodbye when leaving a room, even if nobody is there, messily feeds himself yogurt and soup with a spoon and makes the sound mwah when giving someone a kiss. this little sweetheart is one of a kind.
