The #nikon#d7500 is able to shoot continuously at high speeds of 8fps, which can be attributed to the high-performance #expeed 5 and large-capacity buffer memory. the power of this feature is best witnessed when photographing fast moving subjects, such as these fast-paced #basketball players.
#rhinos used to roam far and wide across #eurasia and #africa. however, due to poaching, these large herbivorous #mammals are rarely seen outside national parks and reserves anymore. with that in mind, it must have been a truly breathtaking experience for @hamraaz.khurana to witness these three rhinos in their #natural habitat.

Originally established in 1818, the jingzaijiao tile-paved salt field is the oldest of its kind in #taiwan. although shut down for a time, it has since been restored for #tourism and historic preservation. @wu.tony922 captured the #afterglow of the sun reflected in shallow saltwater, producing this photo that harks back to busy days past.
we would like to see your beautiful dusk shots too, so share them with us via #nikonasia.

While the right equipment can get you a nice image, following your instincts may lead you to something unexpected. with a basic setup, @nikonmea photographer @kabachiclicks managed to capture the motion of a lemon dropping into a jug of water so intricately. although most people recommended another lens for this shot, hina proved otherwise.

Avid #bird #photographer, @necolleshinori, uses her photography to encourage others to treat #nature kindly. after falling from a tree repeatedly, this spotted wood owlet was tenderly cared for by compassionate members of #singapore’s local birding community.

“photography for me is not only about getting the shot but also the memorable moments i make whenever i'm out photographing.” photography can be more than just capturing cityscapes and landscapes. when we look back at the photos we take, we reminisce about the experiences that led up to and preceded the photo being taken. for @stevie_jsoosay, he was standing on a sidewalk with his camera slung around his neck waiting to capture a photo of the iconic #chicago theater sign, when a kind police officer gave him some sage advice and made sure he was aware of his surroundings. it was a moment of compassion that he’ll always associate with this photo.

On the ndutu plains of the #serengeti in #tanzania, @nikonindiaofficial photographer @laksh.kalyanaraman captured this image of a #steenbok fleeing from a cheetah. the plains are known for its abundance of cheetahs, and as a result, other animals have learnt to stay in a constant state of alert. steenboks in particular have learnt to run in a zigzag pattern to escape from predators! laksh photographed this steenbok’s quick escape at 9fps, using the power of the mb-d18 external battery grip with the #nikon #d850.

@i_harsh_hp visits the village of khoraj in gujarat, #india three times a week to photograph new species of birds he might happen to come across. this photo, captured with the #nikon#d3400 and the af-p dx #nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3g ed vr, is from one of his visits - depicting a myna carefully grooming its wings after a bath. this simple, yet bold composition shows a wonderful and distinct contrast between the darker subject and the immense blue sky.

paternal love in nature doesn’t come much stronger than the humble #kingpenguin. the female #penguin lays a solitary egg during the summer, which she passes to the male who keeps it warm in a small, featherless pouch between his legs until it’s ready hatch. the fathers are known to become very protective during this bonding period.
