I had the opportunity to play with some light projection mapping onto my carving courtesy of @lightforminc. their program works by scanning the scene using a built-in camera. this stuff was so fun to play with and allowed me to experience my work in a new light.
a huge thank you to @scottiedoooo for coming down from sf to give me a crash test with the program. and waking up at 5:30 in the morning to drag my carving out to the cliff so we could get some footage before sunrise was well worth the effort. 😊
check out the fourth video. the manipulation of my carving is super subtle, but trippy.
**this is a photoshopped image**
i think it’s fun to photoshop my work into different scenarios where i’d like to see my work end up. i found this image on hautesavage.com and photoshopped poppyfields [sold] in there. 🤷🏻♂️
