We are so happy to be part of @andytownsf amazing new packaging and rebranding! starting off the new year right 🥳
#repost@andytownsf with @get_repost
new year new us!!! we are so excited to announce that after nearly a year of work, we have brand new retail bags! the changes seen in these bags directly reflect the feedback we’ve gotten about our old packaging—that it was easily crumpled and tampered with. we looked into many different packaging technologies to find a solution to these problems while maintaining our commitment to sustainability and preserving the design elements we love so much from our original bags.
allow us to give you a tour of our new packaging.
a - our bags will now be heat-sealed, which means our coffee can last longer on the shelf and our customers can have a guarantee that their new coffee has not been tampered with.
b - along with the coffee roast date and iconic colors to differentiate between our blends, decaf, and single origins, our new labels will now also feature flavor notes on the front of the bag to help customers choose which beans they'd like.
c - as a nod to our original packaging and to our beloved ocean beach, the back of our bags still feature our familiar wave design but now with a one-way valve to help preserve coffee freshness.
d - tin-tie closure still allows for bags to be resealed in between brews.
e - the bags' gussets will have a blurb about who we are, a general brew guide for pour over and espresso, as well as information about our website where customers can find more details about the coffee and have access to more specific brewing resources.
not only are the bags more durable and weatherproof, they are also made with 60% compostable / 60% renewable materials and we are excited to take this step as a company to promote sustainability.
we are so super proud of our team who worked h*****n this project. @stephcanlas for her amazing design, and the production team—adam, alex, corey, lauren, corazon, lilly, tyler, & anthony for implementing it.
