while on holiday in fuerteventura i wanted to catch the milky way and then discovered there were a number of windmills dotted about the island which would be a great foreground subject. sadly though on the night i managed to shoot the windmill at tefia there was a cloud covered sky so i shot the windmill slightly disappointed ☹️
luckily the following night the sky was mostly clear and i managed to get a decent shot of the night sky. all i had to do was blend the 2 pics together, so while it is a composite image it was wholly made in fuerteventura!
made the short journey from edinburgh to livingston to pay a wee visit to linn jaw yesterday and so glad to have done so, its a beautiful place.
will pay another visit once autumn really gets a hold. this shot has been twiddled about in ps and nik color efex a little
made a first visit to loch turret on wednesday, i had always wanted to see the tower in the water with the hills as a dramatic backdrop. opted for the long exposure as the clouds were moving at a decent pace. beautiful place but a good trek to get too.
while away on holiday to fuerteventura i hoped to be able to get some pics of the milky way, this was the best i could do as unbelievably the cloud always seemed to roll in at night obscuring the sky! it cleared briefly while on the way home from morro jable and i pulled over at the first opportunity on the fv 2.
