As most of you know, in may i will be going on my very first mission's trip to belize! i am very excited about this wonderful opportunity and looking forward to all that god is going to do.
with that said, i am asking for all of my facebook friends' support. i need both prayers and financial support. anything you can give financially helps me get closer to my goal. whether it be $5 or more, every donation makes a difference. not only are you sowing into god's kingdom, you will be making it so that i can go to belize and be jesus' hands and feet and take the gospel to the ends of the earth (mark 16:15). there are 2 ways you can donate: simply click on the link below, which will take you to my mission's profile and click on the donate button to donate using your card. or, if you're not comfortable with giving online, you can inbox me or call/text me and i can explain to you how you can send a check for your donation.
thank you all in advance for your prayers and financial support as well as for helping me build the kingdom of god!
Today, as we remember the king of the civil rights movement, let us give thanks to all those who believe that human rights apply to all humans. we applaud our past leaders, for they helped advocate for change in american society. they were the list for change who gave us the torch.
but when we talk about civil rights leaders, let us not forget some of the most influencial caucasian leaders of the 20th century. namely, let us not forget (1)sue sojourner, veteran of the civil rights movement, (2) anne mccarty braden, desribed by many as the nation's most outspoken white activist who fought tirelessly for racial equality, (3) frank sinatra, activist, musician and leader that helped bridge gaps in music, working alongside count basie, quincy jones, sammy davis, jr., and others, (4) j. waties waring, the often dissenting south carolina judge who paved the way for u.s. supreme court decisions like brown v. board of education and further helped to desegregate voting laws,(5) virginia foster durr, activist and founding member of the southern conference for human welfare (schw), and (6) bernie sanders, heroic leader of the millennial world. thank you all for your service and dedication to promote equal rights!
