Restaurant: blaze pizza
location: canoga park, ca
type of food: pizza
food (7/10): blaze is a build your own pizza place. what puts it ahead of some of its competition is the ingredients they use. it has fresh mozzarella cheese which some of other places don’t have. i ordered pizza with fresh mozzarella, parmesan cheese, caramelized onion, salt, oregano and basil. the pizza is cooked in gas oven at 550f. the negative part of pizza is that the crust is thin so you don’t get that chewiness like a neapolitan pizza.
service (6.5/10): the service is based on how well they built the pizza. when i got to counter they were a little slow to build the pizza and little bit disorganized but the person who cooked the pizza did it quickly and friendly and provided good service.
ambiance/decor (6/10): it’s a simple style with the kitchen in the back and an indoor and outdoor area. the place is self service
cleanliness (8/10): the busboy would come out continuously and clean the tables to make sure there was no mess.
total score (27.5/40): good for a fast food style pizza that has a good quality and repeat consistency at all locations.
amount paid: $8.65 + tax = $9.47 #pizza#blazepizza#propane#brickoven#freshmozzarella#basil#carmelizedonion#canogapark#losangeles#doctor#persian#jewish#foodie#foodreview#foodblogger#instafood#alwayshungry#postworkout#redvine#margarita#italy#westfield
