today is yogi’s choice day!
so i decided to use my body to create a heart 💜 for you. #pindasana that is my “art”.
i am a big heart.
i love to meet people, to share experiences, to listen, to help, to learn, to teach, to put everyone inside my heart.
yoga has taught and will still teach me so much :
i used to suffer too much, because when you give too much, you expect the same, right??
well, through years of practice, this is the biggest lesson i took from my mat to my daily life:
we are all different!
so we perceive and share love in a different way.
we can’t compare, we can’t measure.
but it doesn’t mean that that the action of love that others are practicing is not the best they can do.
i receive with an open heart, and less and less i judge the reasons why.
our art should be too love, too love more.
because without love, we are nothing.
we just don’t exist.

Staying grounded 🌳 || i wish i could remember who told me this recently, but i can’t 😬. it’s something i’ve been using with jasmine recently when she worries and it works so well at keeping her grounded and bringing her back to reality:

1. name 5 things you can see
2. 4 things you can touch
3. 3 things you can hear
4. 2 things you can smell
5. and one thing you can taste.
i do this when i sense she’s starting to get a bit anxious, before it gets too bad.

НОВЫЕ КУРСЫ ДЛЯ НОВИЧКОВ И НЕ ТОЛЬКО

Недавно одна моя студентка рассказала мне об интересном эксперименте. Люди были разделены на 2 группы. Участники первой выполняли некоторые физические упражнения в то время, как представители второй группы лишь представляли себе, что они их делают. Результат был интересным: обе группы улучшили свои физические показатели. При этом люди, реально выполнявшие упражнения, превзошли тех, кто занимался «мысленно», лишь на 15 процентов.

Этим я не призываю вас заниматься йогой лишь в уме🤣Наоборот: представляете, что происходит, когда вы практикуете да при этом еще реально сконцентрированы на внутренних процессах? (А этого мы в аштанга виньяса йоге и добиваемся). Поэтому я и думаю, что прогресс в асанах - скорее вопрос концентрации. Весьма вероятно, что это касается прогресса вообще во всем.

Ну, а теперь о курсах. На них я как раз и учу воспринимать йогу далеко не только как «физуху», но и как инструмент работы со своей мыслью.

✨Курс level 2 для продолжающих Занятия по понедельникам и пятницам в 18.30. Даты: 16.11 - 21.12. Курс подходит для выпускников моих прошлых курсов, а также для тех, кто знает и практикует первую половину primary series. Будем подробно разбирать все позиции после навасаны. На курсе я покажу модификации, которые станут первыми шагами к освоению некоторых непростых асан. Мы также подробно разберем дыхание, виньясы и последовательность. 💥 11 занятий, 2200 крон.

✨Курс level 1 для начинающих 7.01 - 15.02.2019 Занятия по понедельникам и пятницам в 18.30. То, что надо для тех, кто хочет начать практиковать йогу осознанно и корректно. Мы пройдемся по половине первой серии аштанга йоги, выучим последовательность, отстроим каждую позицию, научимся соединять воедино все важные элементы практики. Кроме того, я обязательно сделаю вводные уроки по теории. Для участников будет сознан специальный чат в telegram, куда я буду скидывать материалы. Аштанга виньяса йога - мощнейший инструмент трансформации тела и духа, проверено на личном опыте и опыте множества других людей. 💥 12 занятий, 2400 крон.

the classes offered are vinyasa ashtanga flow. the flow is ashtanga inspired, with modification to the traditional ashtanga sequence. it is a dynamic strong 60 min class, with a different focus every day.

*** the wise old man and the child *** the perceived #individuality and freely chosen #lifestyle are the driving force of the economy and its illusion of choice. we #love to believe we're unique snowflakes. due to the impossibility of leading completely identical lives with identical experiences, upbringing and all gained/received through nature/nurture, this is true to a degree. but there is also a underlying #light motive permeating the culture and the stories we tell - archetypes. today we’ll take a look at the interesting similarity of two seemingly very disparate archetypical figures – carl jung’s “ #wise old man” and “the #child ”. do you know why you enjoy spending time with young children (when they aren't screaming)? because they show you a pointer to a proper way of being by their wide eyed curiosity and wonder for mundane things you've started to take for granted. the jolt you with their exuberance, #living in the eternal now. on the opposite side of the spectrum sits the old man - life lived, stories nearly finished, world seen and tasted and yet one of the primary traits of his archetype is the same. he's wise because he didn’t stay a helpless child forever, never maturing or taking responsibility. he sacrificed what needed to be sacrificed in order to gain wisdom, and then returned to the childlike wonder, dispensing with the dangerous naiveté but keeping the positive aspects of a childlike view of the world . like childhood 2.0. you'll see the wise old man archetype depicted in stories - usually advising the lead character and teaching him something. this is dumbledore, obi van kenobi, gandalf, "m" from james bond... archetypes tell us something #valuable of our internal workings, the more you know the better you can do, and the more you know of human #nature the better you'll be operating within it. reading the user’s manual is crucial if you don't want to break the machine.

the mantra moves us into the one-heart. when i think of community sangha comes to mind. a sangha is a group of individuals who share the same spiritual values and offer a source of support to each other. the people agree to practice right mindfulness together. this group can be family, friends, or right here as i've felt so often.

to continue our practice of transformation and healing, we need a sangha. the sangha is the soil, and we are the seed. no matter how beautiful, how vigorous our seed is, if the soil does not provide us with vitality, our seed will die. the essence of a sangha is awareness, understanding, acceptance, harmony, and love. people in the sangha stand near us, practice with us, and support us so that we do not pull away from the present moment.

🍁everything i planned for this weekend went terribly wrong.
i couldn’t manage to go to rome because i was sick. ig couldn’t manage to upload my posts for the challenge.i had nightmares every night and when i woke up i was more tired than when i fell asleep.
every kind of expectations i had was destroyed leaving me with a sense of incompleteness and frustration.
i guess i’ve learned the lesson.
no expectations, no disappointments.
is that easy.
i have zero expectations on what will happen on and off the mat, but i will do my best to flow into things in the happiest and healthier way for me 🧡
