So someone i went to high school with suggested i do a post to get everyone caught up on what i've been up to, since i keep my connection to social media very loose [because real life and living in the now is so much more powerful and rewarding]. anywho, if anyone wants to know the sequence of events that transformed a nurse/former entrepreneur into a finder of truth and defender of all of humankind, this describes how my journey through enlightenment and absolute freedom started.
i'll see what i can do brother. for now this is the most i got. about 2 years ago i saw a documentary called the c word on netflix, narrated by morgan freeman [which is about the business of cancer, tobacco, food industry and pharmaceuticals] i was so p****d and sad as i watched it, i felt an emotional knot in my stomach growing that eventually led me to this point; i realized nobody's doing anything effective about our self inflicted suffering. watching this documentary led me to watch another documentary on youtube titled kymatica- after that, i wanted to find out what happens when you meditate. i didn't take any classes for that either. i just prolonged my inhales and exhales and ended up learning about the whole outer world we live in [even on the galactic level] simply by studying my own thoughts, patterns and behaviors. since then it's been nonstop aha moments about our existence [we've been taught a certain set of predictable responses to any given stimuli, much of it based on data connection points we willingly provide on social media>> which helps to makes everything we do completely predictable, [as in programmed, like in ms. fair's class] so i had to unlearn everything that's ever been taught to me- only to find that we were born with everything we've ever needed to live happy abundant lives, without struggle and without working hard. we're taught to seek approval/acceptance by some alleged authority before we can be awesome. i cut out the middleman and continue to find that i can be great at everything, instead of the limiting tradition of choosing the one thing in life that you want to be or do [which is a huge ripoff and insult to our infinite nature]
Thinking about yoga teacher training? meet josh - he will be in our fall session starting in september. we asked him to share why he’s doing teacher training: “i didn’t really want or “decide” to do yoga teacher training, but more just knew that it was time to try to give something back to the yoga community that has given me so much over the years. i chose to do my teacher training at awakened because i want to support this local studio, to help keep wonderful boutique studios alive, to support local owners that help support the community around us with jobs, charity and great yoga. i’m ready to learn more from the community that has supported me.”
our teacher training program will immerse you into our strong community of yogis and teachers - you’ll not only learn about the practice of yoga but you’ll be surrounded by support! for more info on our teacher training go to our teacher training page on our website (link in bio), or email email@example.com #yogateacher#yogateachertraining#ryt200
