Ankle boots are the greatest bridal accessory i’ve ever seen 😍😍 especially on this foggy-day wedding!! they went perfectly with kaylie’s long-sleeved gown paired with her great-grandmother’s earrings. i am in love with this style!
I always encourage my clients to atleast do a few “mommy & daddy” shots! i know, i know... we have kids now and it’s all about the family, right!? but there wouldn’t be a family without the two of you! yes, maybe you won’t print and display these in your home... but i guarantee you one day, you (or your kids!) will be happy to have these!!!
This session and this couple will always be one of my favorites ✨ thank you to all of my clients who keep it real; who are so happy and in love, and let me witness it and hang out with all of that awesomeness! you guys are the real mvps! 🤗 #mauimemories
The beauty in life is that we never truly have a handle on it. so we fight on, adjust, and change. most definitely we become better people for our next challenge 😉
therefore my deconstructed and revamped website glassandshutter.com is live. includes select portrait work from this year and all time favorites. 🙏🙏🙏 please take a peek. surely gives room for the immense possibilities for next year! let’s shoot!
Heyy everyone! 👋🏼 i’d like to take a moment to introduce my beautiful wife smiling in the photo above. that’s corinne! 🤗 she’s the one often behind the thoughtful words that are pouring out onto this platform.⠀
corinne is one of the most humble people that i know, so i’m going to take this time to tell you a little more about her. corinne grew up in myrtle beach, south carolina with an amazing family of six. her incredible parents, brother, and two sisters are the absolute most important thing in her life. ⠀
one of her biggest passions while growing up was playing soccer, and eventually became one of the team captains in high school. i can close my eyes now and imagine her (with that braided pony) pumping up her teammates while giving them that extra encouragement to achieve anything that they set their minds to. ⠀
leading her team was probably where she learned the skills to be such an incredible teacher. she is an uplifting leader, positive motivator, and such an inspiration. for three years in kona, corinne was a special education teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. she made these incredible children feel important, worthy, and dedicated. i’ll never forget the moment gazing up at corinne on stage during their graduation ceremony and seeing her beaming with happiness while standing beside her students. these children truly mean the world to her.⠀
now — fast forward to 2018, and here we are following this incredible journey with aloha zoe photography. we have met the most amazing couples this year and truly feel so blessed to capture their love together. the messages + letters that we receive after delivering their photo galleries truly move us more than you could possibly imagine. there’s no other place in life that i could imagine being right now. god is so good!⠀
