🎄 this sunday morning i woke up on a mission with my christmas shopping to-do list in hand and the goal of getting to the mall at the 9am opening time (i made it!). my skincare routine was almost as minimalist as it gets in an effort to achieve a glow and be on my merry way. i didn't even put on spf this morning, please don't judge! i've been inside a mall for hours and definitely haven't seen much of the light of day 😬 the positive is that i checked quite a few gifts off my list and am on the way to being done. i hope everyone is having a wonderful sunday! .
🎄 first cleanse: @jordansamuelskin the after show balm cleanser- this is the perfect cleanser to remove impurities and refresh the skin. it has a moisturizing component to it as well which my depleted skin greatly appreciates. .
🎄 mist: @botanischnyc rose facial mist- i am enjoying this handmade, all natural mist that has hydrating elements within its formula such as rose oil, rose hip oil, glycerin and geranium oil to name a few. this lovely mist is in an aloe water base which increases the moisturizing effects on the skin. .
🎄 mask: @renskincare glycol lactic radiance renewal mask- when i woke up this morning, looked at my skin and thought, "wow, i need to kick up the glow factor here," i immediately reached for this ren beauty. this is my all-time favorite mask in existence and every time i use it, my skin has that lit from within radiance. it's consistent results and exfoliating properties have me repurchasing it year after year. .
🎄 moisturizer & oil combo: @ryor_cosmetics multi-active beta glucan and avocado cream*- i've been seeking a thicker cream that deeply hydrates the skin and this #ryor product does the trick. it protects the skin barrier, infuses the skin with essential nutrients and has been one of the creams that i've reached for as both a face and neck cream during this winter season. i've taken to mixing oils into my moisturizer on a regular basis for an additional boost and the @biossance 100% squalane oil makes my skin plump up and smile with happiness. .
🎄 what does your super minimalist skincare routine look like?
Anything that comes in the form of a sheet has been at the top of my skin care list lately 👍🏼 i’ve been plowing through them for a one and done of which ones work 🙂 and which to toss 😒 here are 3 that are coming out on 🔝
✔️ pond’s moistureclean towelettes - these just came out and come in 4 different formulas so you can remove dirt and makeup and moisturize all from a wipe.
✔️ peach slices hydrate mask - my skin needs extra hydration this time of year and this mask gives it a boost with antioxidant-rich thyme and the chinese morning calm flower 🌸
✔️ biossance squalane + antioxidant cleansing cloth - i’ve been leaving these next to my bed should i become too lazy to get up and wash my face at the end of the day. it removes stubborn makeup and dirt using the ingredient hemisqualane and this one will not irritate eyes.
🗑product empties and would i repurchase? 🍀biossance squalane + vitamin c rose oil - yes, i have already repurchased the full size.
🍀laneige water bank moisture cream - no, it was very moisturizing, i am not sure it did much more for my skin than some less expensive moisturizers that i own.
🍀acure moroccan argan oil - no, i have other oils that i prefer over this one.
🍀belif moisturizing firming eye cream - no, i have stated before that i don't believe that eye creams are of much benefit in my skin care routine. 🍀l'oreal double extend mascara - no, i would not repurchase this product. i did like step one which is the base coat. i did not care for step two. i have repurchased several tubes of l'oreal voluminous primer as a stand alone product. 🍀wetandwild natural finish setting spray - yes, i would repurchase this product. i have a few setting sprays that i have to work through before purchasing another and if none of them perform better than this, i will definitely repurchase.
🍀josie maran argan daily moisturizer spf 47 - no, i would not repurchase. this leaves a white cast on my skin and i have found other that do not leave a white cast. the best spf is the one you will use faithfully and consistently.
have you tried any of these products and if so, what are your thoughts?
Really enjoying these samples from @biossance ! i'm relatively new to adding oils to my face, because for the longest time i was afraid they would make my skin more oily. but, this #squaline oil is soft and hydrating. i haven't tried the vitamin c & rose oil sample yet, but i'm looking forward to trying it! definitely will be purchasing fill-sizes and more from #biossance.
