Had a blast at the courtyard solstice summer kick off event at the greenspring station. the food was absolutely delicious from the chicken skewers and crab balls 😋 from @thetarksgrill, to the delicious drinks from @belvederevodka and the sweets from @stonemillbakery!
i must say that my @nyandcompany blazer from gabrielle union collection was quite the statement piece! everyone knows i love me some #nyandcompany❤️ @gabunion
as a naturalista, most of us have heard of eden body works before. it's always been that brand that you've been curious about, but you won't spend money on to try it out unless it's on sale/clearance. right!? that's exactly what happened here! @curlbox sells hair care bundles sometimes and if you're quick enough, you might be able to get your hands on some...and i did! they sold this bundle for only $15 which is a steal considering the price for hair care nowadays.
i honestly don't have to much to say about the products because this line is missing an important piece to me...a curling/twisting creme. when a hair care line is released on the market, the top 3 things that i normally purchase is the leave in, the curling creme, and the deep conditioner. my hair looks better when i use styling products that come from the same line or at least the same brand. i did find out that eden has a coconut curling creme. i'll pick that up, try it with all the other products and let you guys know what i think of the brand as a whole. until then, here are my quick thoughts: 💆🏾♀️hydration serum - i legit don't know what to use it for. maybe a wash and go? but i don't do those sooo...
💆🏾♀️therapy leave in conditioner - it's ok. the camille rose naturals coconut water leave in is much better. the edens one is best as a curl refresher. it dotesn't hydrate my hair enough to be a leave in. 💆🏾♀️split end repair masque - best product from the line. it's not as good as my shea moisture deep conditioners, but it gets the job done.
