The human body is an amazing machine. you feed it fuel so it runs, you sleep and it repairs over night all the energy and activities you have done that day. but what happens when you work your body to the ground.. by not fuelling, by not getting restorative sleep by not resting and constantly on the go.go.go! pre#chronicfatigue
i honestly thought i was leading a “normal” life. yes i pushed myself hard. yes i can admit now.. that i was a perfectionist. yes i liked things done my way. i never knew the meaning of the word #quit
i worked full time in a fast pace environment, business manager of giorgio armani beauty “a title i worked extremely hard for a title i was very proud to have” i also trained at the gym 3/4 times a week body building, boxing one day a week too, and homework outs.
i ate a high protein diet, low f*t low carb diet. some days i would have zero carbs. i had a cheat meal once a week were i would over load on all the junk food i wanted within the hour but i would eat clean for 6 days a week.. i was also a party animal! a crazy fun binge drinker who party hard saturdays through to monday morning with no sleep and then carry on performing and smashing targets at work tuesday to saturday. whilst lifting heavy at the gym after my work.. getting around 4/5 hours sleep a night.
it seems so clear now how destructive that lifestyle would be... but back then i felt alright, my body was in the best shape it ever was, i was smashing target at work so i thought it was all pretty normal and i was doing a good job in the work life balance #workhard#playharder
