Keep stressors down by going green 🌱 when we are stressed, our bodies release a surge of cortisol which can cause inflammation and breakdown of collagen. but adding these bits of green to your day you can reduce stress and improve your skin health:
1. spend time outside as much as possible. even 5 minutes in an open green space can reduce cortisol levels.
2. eat dark green veggies. superfoods like spinach, kale, and apparatus are rich in vitamin c , leading to lower cortisol levels.
3. sit down and enjoy a cup of green tea. naturally occurring chemicals like polyphenols and flavonoids decrease cortisol levels.
