Getting creative with my @spechef_kitchenware stencils! these stencils came with their banneton set. which is a pretty great deal i think! still haven't gotten the hang of getting crisp lines and not getting flour all over my loaf but i'll get there 😅 scoring with my @wiremonkeyshop#ufolame of course.

How fabulous!!! 😍🙌🏼✨❤️🌾
chocolate hazelnut sourdough, with melted 70% cocoa dark chocolate and natural cocoa powder in the dough, plus oat porridge, and roasted chopped hazelnuts as inclusions.
tried to create a dove&olive branch pattern, however, the oven spring is out of control…… sourdough no.12
New year, new start and trying to look on the 🌞 side! i’ve added my first recipe/craft post for the year to my website (link in my profile). this is a delicious beer bread but i’ve also included print outs and instructions for you to make a two colour stencil to create this medieval sun face and halo. the halo on the bread is ground turmeric to give the beautiful yellow colour. and you don’t have to use two stencils - the sun face works on its own without the halo. the stencil would also make a great cake artwork! 🌞💛 [oh and the sun was made by me too (some time ago, mind): its papier-mâché on board covered in textured paint and gold leaf xx]
Gave this loaf as a parting gift to a friend who is moving away from las vegas this week 😣. all of us here will miss him dearly, so i wanted to make his loaf extra special. i made the stencil myself and this was the first time i ever used one in a bake. i let the loaf bake for too long so the bread got a little too dark during the bake and the las vegas sign didn't appear as prominent. nevertheless, i still really loved the look and i'm sure i'll be using stencils in the future. let me know in the comments if you'd like to see some tips next time i use one in a video 😁
