Powering through this monday with the revive tea blend, a mix of organic yerba mate, organic green tea, mint, and orange peel!
after years of reading and recommending this tea to customers, i tried yerba mate this year and i can see why people love it. as someone said, it "has the strength of coffee, the health benefits of tea, and the euphoria of chocolate, all in one beverage." traditionally, yerba mate was consumed by the guaraní and tupi people of south america. it was called the 'tree of the gods' according to legend, and it provided vitality and nutrition. there was a time where it was the top exported good, surpassing cocoa and tobacco.
in addition to vitality, studies have found yerba mate to be a nutritious herb. it's high in quercetin, iron, calcium, vitamins b1 and b2, and antioxidants kaempferol and theobromine, to name a few. it reduces adipose tissue hold (fat cells. they're good, but in excess they suffocate organs) and it effects the ratio of energy expenditure and food intake to where it assists in weight loss. the antioxidant compounds reduce oxidative stress, thus allowing no room for free radicals to thrive in the body.
the way you are greeted in someone's home varies across cultures. in south america, they may hold a ceremony as they believe the tea brings people together. the tea is also popular in the middle east, as they were once a major export buyer of argentine mate. the medicinal and energetic tea is sipped from a mate gourd, but may be enjoyed in tea bags or however else you prepare your tea.
I love the smell of possibility in the morning. keep your squats low and your coffee strong ☕️💪🏽 #preworkout#coffee#caffeine#coconutoil#groundcoffee#workouts#motivation#weightlifting#sarcasm#fatloss#increaseperformance#fatburning#improvefocus#athleticperformance#decreasemusclepain#followmyig#instacoffee#cacoabeans#nike#peanutbutter#sponsorship#adidas#sportswear#gymaddict#shredded#fatburningworkout#sweat#aromaofcoffee#fuelyourfitness#goals
