How to ❤️ your love handles - or something like that... but hear me out. most of the time we go on a diet to lose fat, particularly those trouble areas on our bodies that we hate. - i’m not gonna preach to you about getting all mushy with yourself and suggest you be content with where you’re at physically because i feel like most of that talk is a way of avoiding the hard work. - should you love yourself? absolutely. should you have standards for being fit and healthy? yes. that’s a form of self love. - but i want you to realize something. body f*t ain’t all bad. in fact that body f*t is the very reason (one of many, actually) you’re alive and here on earth. - we are here only because our ancestors were fortunate enough to find enough food to survive and their ability to store f*t on their love handles (and everywhere else) allowed them enough energy to b**g each other and reproduce. - so the next time you look in the mirror and angrily stare at all the trouble areas you are trying to lose, remember how much of a privilege it is to be alive right now. - remember how amazing it is you actually have the choice and option to work out and watch your diet and carefully select f*t free versions of your favorite foods. - remember that many people don’t have it as good as we do when they’re worried about their next meal or that their government is corrupt or that they were born in a country that oppresses them. - fat ain’t all bad - #thinkaboutit #weightloss #weightlosstips #fatlossmotivation #weightlossfood #calories #caloriecount #caloriedeficit #caloriecounting #countingcalories #losingweight #lowcalorie #lowcalories #dieting #diettips #dietfood #diethelp #ifitfitsyourmacros #iifym #flexiblediet #flexibledieting #fit#fitness #fitnessfood #fitnesstips #cleaneating #cleanfood #iifymmeals

Advice welcome! getting back on track after the holidays for me isn’t just about the calorie intake, it is certainly the quality of my food as well. i didn’t lose any weight this past month, but i didn’t gain either, and i continued to track all my food. i’m pretty proud of myself for both of these points with the amount of stress i had this holiday season. i usually have a daily goal of eating 500-800 grams of fruits/veggies a day. that went out the window. also, tracking macros hasn’t been happening either. no more! i am getting back on track. i only have 3 pounds until i hit my first goal weight (127lbs) which will put me at the high end of the healthy range for my height (5’0”). only another 7 more after that to be at my second goal weight which is really just an arbitrary number that i picked a long time ago thinking it was an impossible goal and now it’s so close. it doesn’t seem like much, but my god, these last 10 pounds are the hardest. now that i’ve been nearing the end of my weight loss it has been so much harder to stay on track. for one thing, eating in a deficit for my frame is really hard. only time in my entire life where i wish i was a little or a lot taller. i have to be very active to get myself more calories and it’s so hard to do in the middle of winter. something else that makes it a lot harder to eat at a deficit...i really love the way i look now, i love the way my clothing fits, i like what i see in the mirror. but from the beginning i had decided that my goal was to be a healthy weight for my height. this isn’t about looks, this is about my health and my future for me and my family. i have to keep remembering that. making these before and after a helps quite a bit too. nothing like actually seeing your progress to push you in the right direction.

Free metabolic amplification check list to boost your metabolism and burn f*t effortlessly - link in bio 👉👉⠀ ➖⠀ *fat loss macros* by @oualidzaim ⠀ ➖⠀ if you want to lose weight, and mainly fat, on a sure and consistent basis, you have to know what your calories and macros are. this post is about to calculate them in an easy way using just your body weight in lbs. ⠀ ➖⠀ ✅ calories: take your body weight in lbs and multiply it by 12. if you have a moderate activity level, this will put you in a 20% caloric deficit and allow you to lose 1-2 lbs per week on a consistent basis. a moderate caloric deficit will help you preserve your metabolism and avoid weight loss plateaus as much as humanly possible.⠀ ➖⠀ ✅ protein: take your body weight in lbs and multiply it by 1.2...that's the number of grams of protein you should eat each day. this protein intake is adequate for people who strength train consistently on a day-to-day basis and will help you maintain muscle mass while you're dieting to lose weight. combined with training, this will result in close to exclusive f*t loss, not only weight loss. ⠀ ➖⠀ ✅ fat: take your body weight in lbs and multiply it by 0.35...that's the number of grams of dietary f*t you should eat each day. eating fats won't make you fat, quite the opposite actually. it will help you boost your metabolism and optimize hormonal function for accelerated f*t loss. ⠀ ➖⠀ ✅ carb: carbohydrates should make up for the rest of your calories. when you know you caloric intake for f*t loss, remove calories from protein (your protein intake in grams multiplied by 4) and your calories from fats (your f*t intake in grams multiplied by 9), then divide the remaining calories by 4. that will give you the number of grams of carbs you should eat each day. carbs will also help you keep your hormones on fat-burning mode and supply you with energy for your workouts and daily activities...while keeping you sane and in a good mood. ⠀ ➖⠀ does this help? let me know in the comments, i'll answer! 👇⠀ ⠀ #fitness #fatloss #weightloss #macros #protein #iifym #weightlosstips #fatlosstips #fatburn #metabolism #calorie #calorieburn #caloriecount #carb #carbup #flexiblediet #flexib

📍calorie counting 101📍 — calories are going to have the biggest impact on whether you gain or lose weight. plain and simple. - even if you’re not counting ‘em, they still *count*, ya feel me? - now, i personally love counting calories for weight loss. what it teaches you about food and portions is invaluable and will help you for the rest of your life (even when you’re not counting calories anymore) - but there a lot of folks who hate it. they say it’s too obsessive or difficult or time-consuming or whatever. - i disagree. when it’s done right, calorie counting and food tracking should be a quick& stress-free process. - from my experience, the reason people stress about counting is because they get overly fixated on a specific calorie target... - for example, say their goal is to eat 1850 calories per day. in their mind, eating 1900-2000 calories means they blew it! and since they already went over, they say “screw it” and binge their way to 1000+ calories over 👎 - here’s the truth ✅: being over/under your calorie target by ~100 or so is not a big deal. in fact, most of my clients have a 200-300 calorie range goal instead of an exact target. - reason being, it eliminates stress and, in the long run, it helps them stay more consistent and on-point with their diet. - my advice? don’t stress about being perfect. - if you go a bit over/under your goal on day, i promise you’ll be fine. just focus getting close most of the time. i bet you’ll find you’re waaaay less neurotic and your desire to binge/overeat decreases drastically 👌 ——— #cartergood #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlossmotivation #caloriecounting #countingcalories #flexibledieting #iifym #calories #caloriecount #dieting #diet #dietplan #foodjournal #nutrition #nutritiontips #fit #fitnesstips #fatloss #nutritionplan #losingweight #weightlosscoach #weightlosssupport #weightlossdiet #weightlossplan #weightlossstruggle #weightlosstips #weightwatchers

💥weight loss made simple💥 - 🐊weight loss is actually very simple. burn more calories than your body uses. it’s simple. but it’s not easy. - 🐬 i hear a lot from people how frustrated they are that they are not losing weight. they tell me they do their workouts and they “eat well” but still not losing weight. - 🍕the problem with “eating well” is that is different for each person. it’s hard to determine exactly what eating well is. - 🍇and you can be eating really well, and still not lose weight because even too much of eating well can lead to weight gain. it can get super frustrating. - 🤔the solution? try tracking your calories for at least a week. be diligent and track everything you eat and drink so you know how many calories you are consuming every day. you will most likely find your answer as to why the scale hasn’t moved or has gone up, and can make the necessary adjustments - 🎃tracking calories is not for everyone, and is not necessary to do for a lifetime. it is however a great tool to learn about foods that are higher in calories than others, portion sizes, etc. and is a great way to get information and figure out why you may be stuck in the top or middle scenario. i will be posting more about tracking calories coming up soon :) - 🐅and while the scale is a great tool, there are many other ways to measure progress too! check out my feed for a post on measuring progress that is not the scale 😀 credit- @susanniebergallfitness - follow us @caloriedetails for the best daily nutrition, calorie intake, and healthy living guides on ig 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️ - #weightloss #weightlossmotivation #weightlossstory #weightlosstransformation #weightlosscommunity #weightlosssupport #weightlossinspiration #weightlossplan #diet #dietcoach #dietingtips #dietmotivation #dietplan #dietfood #dietprogram #calorie #caloriecounting #caloriebomb #caloriecount #countingcalories #fitoverforty #fitoverfifty #nevertoolate #susanniebergallfitness

💥the best diet💥@syattfitness👈 - 🦄the fitness and health industries are, unfortunately and ironically, built on the platform of fear. see, it's easier to convince you to buy a supplement or diet or product if you're concerned the alternative could make you f*t or give you cancer or k**l you. - 🏓i know this sounds extreme but a quick glance over the recent hysteria caused by the netflix documentary, what the health, exemplifies this as a prime example. that film has caused so much anxiety and distress over how to eat, it's frankly scary to see and i can't help but wonder how many disordered eating habits have been triggered directly because of it. - 🎳listen, if there's one thing i wish everyone could know and understand about nutrition it's this --> there is no reason to let it stress you out. there is no reason to let it consume your every waking moment and cause fear or anxiety or worry. the idea that there is a "good" food or "bad" food or "healthy" food or "unhealthy" food is a misnomer in and of itself, designed to create more fear. because too much or too little of anything (water, included) will k**l you. and the sooner we realize moderation, above all else, is the key to success, the sooner you'll be able to let go of any and all fear associated with food. - 🦄so, back to my original point: the best diet? there isn't just one. it's whatever you enjoy most that you can stick to in the long-term while making consistent, measurable progress. - 👋and anyone who tells you otherwise? no worries, probably just mundungus fletcher. - #dietplan #diet #dietfood #dieting #flexibledieting #dietitian #fatloss #fatlosstips #fatlossfood #fatlosshelp #fatlosscoach #fatlossmotivation #dietmotivation #iifym #ifitfitsyourmacros #paleo #keto #lowcarb #carb #lowfat #caloriecount #caloriecounting #alwaysoptimal

💥your macros "cheat sheet"💥 - 🦄growing up i was an awful student. i mean, like, really bad. not rude or overly disruptive (except one time i started doing a s***p tease in ms. notaro's english class but, to be fair, it was halloween and really funny). but, mostly, i just didn't do well sitting in a classroom memorizing stuff. - ☕️so to get through without flunking, i made these "cheat sheets" to help me condense the most important parts of a topic into a simple, easy to read picture. they weren't *everything* i needed to know. but they gave me a strong enough base to feel confident digging deeper and learning more on my own. - 🦄that's why i make so many "cheat sheets” on ig. because many have told me they're saving and using these daily for f*t loss and muscle gain and strength and yada yada yada. - ☕️anyway, what we have here is your macro cheat sheet. it covers the essentials of the 3 macronutrients (protein, carbs, fats) in addition to a few extra "fun facts" alongside alcohol (which is, technically, the 4th macronutrient, sitting at 7 cals/gram). - 🦄worth nothing, you'll see i included "daily needs" as a section in each post. first, lbm stands for "lean body mass." that's just how much muscle you have in your body, rather than going by your total body weight (which includes much more than just muscle, like f*t and bone and water poop and stuff). and, second, please do not let the numbers overwhelm you. my standard recommendation still applies --> hit your calories, hit your protein, and the rest will fall into place. really, i mean it. as long as your calories and protein are in check, you're good to go. - #macros #macronutrients #macrofriendly #macrocounting #calorie #calories #caloriecounting #caloriecount #protein #carbs #carbohydrates #f*t #fats #healthyfat #healthyfats #healthyfood #healthydiet #cleaneating #eggs #bread #meat #alwaysoptimal #syattfitness

Well said.... i mean it’s obvious right? - and sure, this is just two examples — each falling on extremes. - i left a piece of chocolate on one and a good meal on the other just to indicate that i get it: - you probably aren’t on either extreme. - but i also know that images help. it’s pretty obvious who was gonna feel better and, with that, have a much higher likelihood of success. - i also used these examples as a chance to highlight some of the most important points that people miss when focusing too much on calories and macros. - yes they matter, and in some respects i still do think it’s important to *at least some degree* understand a calorie does technically just equal a calorie — and that if you aren’t seeing things change with your body — nutritionally, the numbers are probably off. - which is why i controlled the calorie number here to show you, when we get passed counting, we can see plainly what looks better, more reasonable — and which comes with a greater likelihood of success. - flexibility is a must in our world today. your friend or coworker can offer you food and you’ll fee obliged (it still counts). you have work luncheons — and dinner meetings. - you’ve got birthday parties and a gas station or corner store with treats when you’re bored— if they aren’t already kept in your cupboard. - but i also used this to highlight planning ahead, meal prep and organization as borderline necessities if you plan to navigate nutrition in today’s world properly. - is it challenging at first? yes, you should expect it to be challenging at first. - worth it? look at the other words i used. bad sleep, low energy and more often hungry. - or would you prefer happier, more energetic and satisfied. - let me know what you think below in the comments. thanks for reading. . . #calorie #calories #caloriecount #caloriecounter #calorietracking #macroscoach #macrocounter #macrotracking #macrocounting #ifitfitsyourmacros #foodquality #nutrientdensefoods #bestfoods #fatlossmeals #fatlosshelp #fatlosstips #flexibledieter #caloriesmatter #healthydietmeals #healthydietfood #mealprepideas #mealprepidea

💥calories in wine💥 . 🍷i love wine. you, too? . 💫despite wine being the bestest - it's important to know it does contain a bunch of calories. when drinking, having 1 glass instead of 2 or 2 glasses instead of half a bottle makes a big difference in your caloric intake. you can do this by ordering by the glass, or switching up wine with water. . 🍾tag your favorite wine-loving friend😄❤️ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . rp @fastforwardamy #caloriecounting #caloriecount #caloriecomparison#macrofriendly #macrocounting #macrohack#caloriescount #mcdonalds #howtocountmacros#howtocountcalories #fatloss #flexibledieting#iifym #iifymgirls #iifymers #fitfood #fitfoodshare#fitnessfood #wine #healthyeating #cleaneating#ricecakes #alcohol #carbs #weightloss#strengthfeed #girlgains #vegan #fitfam#eatforabs

💥is granola really healthier than normal cereal?💥 - 🤥 let’s cut to the chase here...granola is a fake ‘health’ food marketed to you in a way where you think it’s ‘healthy’ and can eat it ‘guilt free’ now granola isn’t bad but it isn’t good either, same with frosties. - 🥛 now i know 58 calories isn’t exactly a big difference. but try comparing a 45g portion of granola and a 45g portion of frosties...believe me you won’t just be putting in 45g of granola there will be a lot more 😉 - ➡️ like i’ve said granola isn’t bad, but don’t think you can eat tons and tons of it and not feel guilty...trust me having that approach is gonna do a lot more harm than good. - the end - z

Cheese 🧀 😍1/4 cup + 1 tsp of mozzarella cheese @sargentocheese • • i love ❤️ cheese! i can eat it on everything. most people think of cheese as fat! however it has a good amount of protein per serving. 🙅🏻‍♀️if you can control you serving size, cheese is a great addition to eggs, sandwiches, or as a snack. but the same time, if you are trying to save calories you can skip the cheese! @sargentocheese cheese has a little less calories than most brands. 110 per 1/4 cup for most cheese!
