Does failure scare the bejesus out of you? if so, you may need to shift your way of looking at it. did you know that thomas edison tried to make a light bulb 10,000 times with no success? when asked about failure, this was his response:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“i have not failed. i’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
failure can be your greatest teacher, rather than your undertaker. failure can be experienced as a delay, not a defeat. it is a temporary detour, rather than a dead end. failure is something you can only avoid if you are being and doing nothing. which, by the way, is no fun at all.
For the past 6 months i’ve made changes to my diet, my lifestyle and my attitude. i have lost 20 pounds since january however i’ve lost more in negativity. i would hate on my stomach, my thighs, my hair, my g*****n cuticle beds. then i made a change. a big change in my life and everything shifted from there. i spent my days reminding myself of my value and not just physically but in my personality, my character, my heart. i reminded myself how in my life i have been generous and forgiving and strong and patient. and that i needed to give myself that treatment. today i’m walking around vancouver on this awesome adventure i’ve worked hard to make happen in an outfit 6 months ago i would have laughed at the idea of wearing. it is amazing what can be done when you trust yourself and transition into the positive and the healthy. i can see now i was like a rapid, fighting the current, keeping myself in the same spot. now i move with the current and the love and tranquility moves through me. it’s powerful to say i love myself. especially after this journey i’ve been on. give yourself credit, push for your goals, be generous, be forgiving, be strong, be patient. you got this 👊🏻. #instadaily#insta#instagood#inspirationalpost#lifeisgood#bodyconfidence#selflove#selfloveisthebestlove#feelinggood#journeysofar#cantstopwontstop#modivation#modivationmonday
