Treat thoughts as you would clouds. let them drift in and let them drift away. you be unconcerned. when you realize you are deep in thought, simply drift back to the object of your attention – the mantra or your breath. peace. -davidji⠀

Jump + plyometric training can be an amazing way to test and develop an athlete's lower body power, as well as fast-twitch capabilities.
that being said, it's very important that the proper progressions are utilized to avoid injury and wrong movement pattern integration.
here is a comprehensive introduction to proper jump training fundamentals from @rg1nakoa.

Hope you all had a wonderful sunday!
unless your a titans fan, then it was not so wonderful, and as for packers fans well.....we’ll see 👀
Holy shit, i ran a marathon today. my only goal beforehand was to finish. 30 minutes in, i changed that to finishing under 5 hours. clocked in at 4:54. officially one of those people now.
1) post race.
2. pre-race. so young, so naive.
3. starting line.
4. get you a best friend like @todayisadreday, who not only drives you to carlsbad, makes overnight oats so you have something to eat at 4am, makes signs + cheers you on, and even brings a massage ball for your muscles on the ride back. dre, i don’t know what i did to deserve you, but your friendship makes me almost believe in god. almost.
5. when your oldest brother drives down the night before, takes you to dinner, and cheers you on...even though he’s had the worst flu imaginable for over two weeks. 💓
6. in shock.
7. listen for very end of video when i say “i don’t know if i ever wanna do that again” lol
very excited to talk about things besides running again.
Traveling sales. yes, it's true: i get to travel for work. in the past, it flew me around the globe, but these days, it keeps me a bit closer to home.
after my awakening in iceland with a healthy dose of mexico on its heels to seel the deal of chasing an artist dream, my travelling creative life got all mixed up with my work life.
the next few months would be filled with paid trips to places like san diego, los angeles and san antonio. some were no more than a 24 hour turn around filled with customer meetings and technical demos. how could i possibly create in such harsh conditions?
and this is where the concept of day trippin' entered my creative consciousness. i figured, if i were lucky enough to have travel t****t upon me, i was going to make the absolute most out of it.
i think i've travelled to san diego at least 25 times in my tenure in technical sales. but with this new found drive to create installation, i opted to open my eyes and heart to the surroundings outside of the meeting room.
for decades, i had dreamed of seeing the ranunculus bloom in carlsbad, but had never found the time.
as the plane approached for landing, a box of glitter domes tucked into my computer bag, i wondered where i might place them for my 8 hour stay. i simply glanced out the window to see the carpet of color below.
i instantly knew where i would explore after my lunch meeting. two dreams, one day, no problem.
