Mi vida en india 🇮🇳 (parte2)
la verdad es que no hay una rutina o un día igual aquí , todos los días descubro y aprendo algo diferente. pero describiendo un poco, después de lo que les conté , hago seva en el ashram (servicio desinteresado) así como veían a julia roberts limpiando el piso jajaja pero yo no limpio, hago de todo , bailo , canto , tomo fotos , contesto e mails, hago blogs y más . aquí la gente de india me dice mucho que parezco de aquí y hasta me hablan en hindi pensando que entiendo y algo que es muy chistoso es que me ven en la calle y conozco ya al de la fruta , de la tienda del restaurante y ahí voy saludando a todos y ahí me ven entre vacas y motos moviéndome como si siempre hubiera vivido aquí. lo más importante no es lo que hago externamente si no lo que hago y sucede dentro. después se los cuento , les mando mucho amor ♥️ . gracias por leerme. .

Cut myself off but i don’t care, i was so grateful to find a couple sun filled minutes outside to move in. poor poor placement of my head in my headstand resulted in me balancing on my arms instead of the ground. much harder and scarier lol

well, i can remember the feeling in my back, maybe the poses look similar, the feeling while holding is not. now my back doesn't hurt at all and i can hold it for much longer and maybe get a bit closer sometimes.
practice is the key to progress! whereever you are in the posture just keep going, little by little the feeling will shift and you will become more comfortable in the posture. just focus on your breath, think about pressing up with your hands, try to streighten your elbows, look between your hands and finally lift chest up and hips as high as you can ;)

task : write down five things that you're grateful for.
this is my favourite task because i love reminding myself to be grateful for all that i have. it's excellent for handling my bad moods and controlling disappointment that stems from greed.
it's not happiness that brings us gratitude, it's gratitude that brings us happiness.
if we aren't aware of and satisfied with what we have, it'll never be enough. gratitude turns what we have into enough.
otherwise, we will always search for happiness elsewhere without realising that it is already within us.
here are a few things i'm grateful for:
1) being alive and well. life is precious, so is good health. a couple of near death experiences and a bad immune system has taught me that and helped me become stronger.
2) knowledge that has been shared with me which has made me who i am today.
3) access to good water, food and education since birth.
4) loved ones who have loved me even when i didn't love myself.
5) being able to enjoy travelling and learning new things, with new people, in new places.
bonus point! last and most importantly.
6) a professional and personal life that allows me to teach and practise yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️
i will constantly count my blessings, be grateful for the wonderful life i lead and the good karma that has exposed me to yoga 🙏🏽

Essa aluna mais do que especial mostrando que não dá para desistir (arrasta para ver o making, conseguindo fazer o chakrásana, e fazendo a sua análise sobre o passado antes e depois do yoga. depoimento lindão. os olhos da professora débora encheram d'água. yoga é família e união! ♥️
"desde pequena minha família sempre dizia que eu era uma pessoa meio ansiosa, entretanto, só em 2015/2016 pude entender e aceitar o que era perceptível pra eles, mas até então, não pra mim. fui ao médico, iniciei terapia, academia, tudo que estava ao meu alcance, mas ainda que aliviasse o que eu sentia, não parecia ser suficiente. nesse ano de 2019, o qual precisei mergulhar novamente na jornada de vestibular (quem passa sabe que é uma pressão e cobrança enorme), senti a necessidade de tentar algo novo que pudesse não só me ajudar a canalizar meus sentimentos ansiosos e, por consequência, alguns tristes, mas também que pudesse se tornar um hábito na minha vida. então pesquisei um pouco sobre o yoga e consegui encontrar um lugarzinho muito especial que por coincidência era bem na rua da minha casa e eu nunca tinha visto! marquei uma aula experimental e me apaixonei por tudo, pelo ambiente, pela energia e pela professora incrível que é a débora. desde então comecei as aulas regulares e não parei mais. não só eu, como pessoas da minha família perceberam a minha calma e tranquilidade pra lidar com algumas situações, principalmente o vestibular. hoje, eu ainda tenho ansiedade, ainda sou ansiosa! mas posso garantir que consigo controla-lá infinitas vezes melhor que antes. aprendi a me conectar mais comigo mesma, aprendi exercícios respiratórios (pranayama) que me foram muito úteis pra me acalmar, aprendi a fazer coisas com meu corpo que nem imaginava ser capaz, aprendi e ainda estou aprendendo, a saber deixar de lado os problemas e as correrias cotidianas, mesmo que por alguns minutos, pra que saibamos nos priorizar e ter uma vida mais leve. sou muito grata à yoga por tudo que me proporcionou e, principalmente, pela minha professora débora, que além de uma mestra maravilhosa, se tornou uma amiga muito especial pra mim. ❤ "

Hoy hablaremos de la importancia de las aperturas de pecho en yoga. .
el ritmo de nuestro día a día y los problemas físicos y emocionales nos van alejando de nuestro centro y de los valores como el compromiso, la entrega y el amor (que podrían reflejarse en el 4° chakra o anahata, situado en el centro el pecho). además de minar nuestra energía, nos van cerrando el cuerpo, cerrando el pecho, encorvándonos y haciendo que la respiración sea menos profunda y calmada. .

Our focus this weekend is on shoulder mobility and working on growing push strength and stability in overhead straight arm movements like chakrasana, dolphin, pincha and even basic structures like downward dog. so many upper trap dominant people in the gym! getting students to not lock and sink into their joints and understanding that tensing is not engaging will be my challenge of weekend. based on this evening’s power yoga class, i think i have my work cut out for me! 🤣 #chakrasana #shouldermobility

ross says: "wheel pose or charkrasana has become a favourite of mine in recent months. not because i’m particularly good at it but because some days it feels fairly manageable and on others it seem almost impossible.

whenever i’m in a class at hye towards the end of the class just before savasana i’ll often try to go up into this pose just to see how if feels on that particular day. it’s become like a kind of barometer for my energy levels on any given day.

i first started working more on this pose at the beginning of the year and i’ve been quite pleased that it's starting to come together a bit .. there's still more work to do though and i like how this pose still presents challenges for me every time i try to go into it.

when i manage to get it right there's such a rewarding stretch across the front of the body and a lovely deep back bend that make all the effort getting up there worthwhile”

esta ásana es un desafío físico y psicológico. se asemeja visualmente a una rueda completa.
las manos y los pies se ponen ambos sobre la esterilla lo más alineados posibles. las piernas, el torso y los brazos formarán una hermosa curva con el abdomen hacia arriba.
lo ideal es que la forma se vea como un arco liso donde los codos son rectos, la columna vertebral está curvada de manera uniforme y las piernas aparecen como una extensión natural de la flexión de la espalda.
lo más importante es evitar los daños en la espalda. cada persona es diferente y para ello te daré unos trucos para descubrir esa sensación de espacio en la espalda y sobre todo en la parte baja.
ponte de rodillas, cruza tus brazos y engancha los omóplatos, lleva la frente hacia atrás, activa los brazos y lleva ya el tronco hacia atrás, conseguirás la flexión hacia atrás de la espina dorsal superior para extenderla en lugar de comprimir la espina dorsal en su punto más flexible (que generalmente es la parte baja).
ahora ya estarás preparado: túmbate boca arriba, pon las manos a la altura de los hombros, levanta tus talones, pon las rodillas hacia adentro, no las dejes ir más allá de los tobillos, eleva los muslos hacia arriba, suaviza las nalgas, lleva el abdomen bajo hacia el ombligo y presiona el hueso púbico hacia arriba, pon en acción los codos para estirar los brazos y empuja el pecho hacia adelante (las axilas se balancean sobre las yemas de los dedos), deje que se balancee hacia atrás, empuja hacia adelante -un poco de movimiento puede ayudar a liberar cosas-, exhala.

estas asanas entre muchos otros beneficios, ejercen un profundo masaje sobre la región lumbar, mejorando el funcionamiento de las glándulas suprarrenales.
las glándulas suprarrenales producen hormonas tales como estrógeno, progesterona, esteroides, cortisol y cortisona, además de sustancias químicas como adrenalina (epinefrina), norepinefrina y dopamina.

dificultad y facilidad son términos relativos. 
desde el punto de vista meramente físico un asana puede ser fácil para un practicante avanzado y difícil a un principiante.
qué hay más allá de la simple postura?
somos capaces de penetrar en la postura tras los primeros instantes de comodidad? 
o nuestra mente comienza a divagar al poco tiempo de entrar en la postura olvidando el verdadero desafío del asana?
hasta el asana más simple se complica si lo practico con plena atención y con plena atención en la postura me descubro...
el camino para avanzar es desafiar nuestra mente a través de las asanas y variaciones a un nivel más profundo de atención, desafiando nuestra mente para que salga de la zona de confort.

Fall time fave: mist. you can easily see it when the mornings become colder. especially during the sunny weather and if you are passing near a river.
on my way to work i usually pass near the river, and it is so early in the morning that you can see sunlight coming through the mist that is rising from the water and moving over the green areas. .
i never did think about taking the picture of it but the image is really clear in my head and what is even more clear is the feeling of a full heart everytime i see this. i could literally stand there and lose my self in it, without even knowing how much time did pass.
as for the wheel pose it is one of my favorites. the ever evolving wheel. it is a pose that never stops impressing me because of the way how different it feels as i progress in it.
in the beginning it was about the legs, than i started feeling low back (yes all backbends i feel in the low back first), than the feeling moved towards my hands, than i felt the shoulders, and now i feel an amazing stretch through the front of the body. and yes it is my 10th year of practice and just now i started feeling the stretch of the front in the wheel. this is just my journey through wheel. .
