I’ve always felt the name of this recipe book, ‘crazy for chocolate’,describes me fairly well. i’ve probably made it clear how much i love chocolate so i thought it was only right that i included my one of favourite recipe books surrounded by some of the different types of chocolate i like to use in my baking.
as well as an excellent title this is also a fantastic recipe book. one of my favourite things is that it has a photo of every recipe. i sometimes get a bit infuriated when recipe books just have artful photos of a cloud of icing sugar when what you really want is a clear indication of how a complicated recipe should look like at the end. but this book has clear photos of every end result and has many pictures of the different steps in the recipe. the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
most importantly the recipes are delicious. this book includes two of my all time top ten recipes- chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate tart both of which i have made countless times.
if you are in need of a recipe book or some chocolate inspiration then this is the perfect book. #crazyforchocolate#recipebook#chocolate#chocolates#recipes
Ruby’s 7th birthday cake was a 2 layer chocolate sponge, sandwiched together with chocolate buttercream and salted caramel frosting. chocolate buttercream smothered around the outside, a milk chocolate ganache and decorated with a selection of mars bars and mars copies. she was very pleased. #kelicioustreats#marsbarcake#dripcake#birminghambaker#chocolategalore
