Here’s the time lapse video i made of my previous post. sorry it’s not very well filmed and my camera died before the end, but i mainly filmed it so that i could see when i should have stopped 🤔😂 i love this medium and all the different ways it can be used. there’s so many techniques to try, sometimes i want to try them all but it’s a bit like cooking - too many flavours and your palette is overwhelmed! learning when to stop is all part of the process of growing as an artist though ✌🏼💫
I’m asked surprisingly often by other artists if posting my process hurts my business. it’s true, other artists may adopt my techniques or be inspired by my color choices. i’ve seen it happen with my inks. but what do i gain by keeping my ideas locked away? and if i’m worried about someone stealing my techniques, how great of an artist can i possibly be, if it’s so easy? nope, the way i see it is; when i share, i grow. not only do i learn a lot from watching my own process and seeing how others react to it, but i’m forced to forge ahead and keep striving to evolve and hone in my skills. sharing doesn’t put me at risk, it helps me blossom! #sharingwisdom#artprocess#studiosessions
And the finished one, which you have seen on video ☺️
have a nice day 😘
