It was a hard secret to keep. it took over a year to restore the bright work on this o.s.c.a. 1185 prototype found in florida in pieces and restored to concours glory by d & d classic cars. as it was such a rare project, things were kept pretty mum. quite the challenge as time hadn’t been a friend to the parts. the bottom photo is one of many showing some of the challenges. the bumper which was well wasted away, had to be restored to flawless finish without the aid of fillers and primers. in the end everything including dozens of deteriorated die cast parts, shined in concours finish. unveiled at radnor hunt concours, with nice press coverage, it went on to ribbon at cobble beach concours. it was a huge honor to be selected and entrusted with the chrome restoration and plating on this historic italian prototype.
Next few photos will be of @jeffwinkler's awesome little cadillac collection. his sts is the cleanest in the world (no really, it even has the factory stickers still on the undercarriage) not to mention he still has the original tires! everything on this car is as new, as you'd see it on the showroom floor in 1997. oh, and did i mention it's z-rated? no limiter, oil cooler, a very rare optional sts feature. #cadillac#seville#sts#museumquality#concoursquality#luxury#90s#whitediamond#northstar#canada
