lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. we all have 24 hours a day.
sometimes i ask people why they have not yet done something they had on their vision board 5 years ago and their answer is "i've not had time". please what kind of time are you looking for?
i've broken down time management many times especially when asked how i handle being an employed-preneur. i've also written about it in chapter 4 of cash your passion @cashyourpassion. but i'll go through it again to help you understand how to effectively manage your time with focus and direction; the type that produces tangible results.
join me on 27th october at creatives connect, lagos. you'll learn how to set realistic goals with action points and how to discipline yourself to make the best out of every 24hours you get. take advantage for the early bird ticket at n3,500, follow link in bio to register.
nobody gets more than 24 hours in a day, so the question is - what do you really do with yours ?
Invest in your future: one of the main reasons we launched creatives connect is because we realized that most creatives tend to stay focused on "creating" without thinking through the process of building a sustainable brand and business. |
what will your business look like in 1-3-5-10 years time? how can you create profitable products and services that will help you earn from your passions? how can you kick start your business? how can you position yourself brand for international expansion? |
we'll be teaching all these and more at creatives connect lagos |
it's one thing to say you're an entrepreneur, it's another entirely different aspect to know what it takes to thrive and cash your passion. |
join other like minded creatives and entrepreneurs next week for an amazing few hours of investment. |

So, i got my business registered 5 months ago and i must confess, the days after have been the most stressful yet most productive months yet. although better days are ahead but first, i want to bask in my personal growth thus far but most especially, in how the holy ghost taught me business firsthand.
i started out with just passion but now, there's a zeal to 'businetize' my zest. even though i'm certain i won't publish every book in the world and even if that were possible, i'd decline the offer but i want to provide for my needs by doing what i love.
so far, i've not just published books. i've ghostwritten, edited, written speeches for political campaigns, worked on a few academic research projects, created ready content for organizations and most of all, trained people to replicate what i do. in other words, i have staffers, all in five months.
so, i was having this conversation with someone i just met and he was excited at how far i've come and he, in company of some other youth leaders, thought to invite me to share my story just for two days.
trust me, that's not enough but here is the best part. after those two days, i'd still continue to render help to as many as would need it.
i'm not a serial entrepreneur, so when it comes to the business of books, i can say to a very comfortable extent that i have studied book trends in nigeria specifically and i'd like to help any writer who wants to make a few bucks on the side through the process.
please note that it could be tortuous at the very beginning but discipline is what i teach and practice.
