Vegan mac and cheese, green beans, and a japanese sweet potato. so grateful for the abundance of food i have available for my family. i can't imagine what it's like to always be hungry and not be able to feed my daughter. unfortunately nearly 1 billion people on this planet don't have enough food to eat, and millions of children are starving every single day. according to the u.n. over 3 million children die every year from poor nutrition. it doesn't have to be this way. you may think you can't do anything about it, but you can. go vegan. maybe you don't care about animals, the environment, or even your health. do you care about innocent children? do it for them. the majority of crops including the ones grown in poor countries where people are starving are given to livestock to fatten them up so we can slaughter them, then feed them to affluent nations. let's cut out the middle man (the animals) and start feeding more of those crops to the people starving. if we stop feeding so much of our crops to the 50+ billion animals we slaughter every year we will have plenty of food to feed everyone on this planet.
Sakura, the name reminds me of watching cardcaptors as a child. also this isn't usually something i would pick out as it doesn't appeal to me but my dad bought me this one and it smells lovely despite the lack of bath art !!!
These amazing young women marched in the p***y march in boston last year. standing up for the rights of women! these young leaders give us faith in the future for all of humankind. “women’s rights are human rights.” we thought it was swell that they symbolically wore our suffragette red lipstick. thank you @zimmerdown3 and all of your smart friends for standing up for women’s rights. #empower#female#suffragette#lipstick@fashionista_com
