Travel tuesday tip: starting 2019, cruise will be our most used form of traveling. @j.lioness and i were discussing a few reasons why. 📍
i'll share with you guys. i'd love to know what you'll think and if you have anything else to add to these reasons: 📍
1) it's much easier to see multiple countries on a short trip. i was checking out some packages recently and i realized it was so much easier to see most of the places we wanted to see in southeast asia by cruising instead of flying. this will be easier especially now that we have our little angel with us.
2) also, cruising can be cheaper than land travel if you plan smartly. we plan to choose an interior cabin which will be much cheaper , we will try to take at least one cruise during the off-peak season months, we also plan to choose an itinerary with ports that don’t require expensive driving excursions. 📍
please add to this if you have any suggestions. 📍
3) another major advantage of taking a cruise is that most cruise lines do not require you to pay for your entire cruise at the time you make a reservation. you need to make a deposit to lock in the price and your cabin selection, but you'll be able to pay off the balance within a few months of your sailing date. this can be so convenient and i suggest that you guys try to take advantage of this option.
