As one life ends, new ones begin... last weekend we picked up blueberry (was grey mare but now extremely dirty). she was our late friends b***h of a mare to say the least, but she is in foal and expected to be due in november/ december.
the other horse is a 20 year old gelding named roger (we will be changing his name) but he's underweight as some may know about the drought in australia, there was no feed where he was. he was being ridden by a 10 year old girl, bareback in just a halter, we have been told he's a "bomb proof" horse. he does however have a put out hip and we will slowly have to put weight on until he can be used for anything. but he has been nothing but quiet and sweet since we got him.
so all in all it should be interesting how everything goes. we have not forgotten and never will forget about our wednesday. we miss her everyday.
