#floatitworkitdropit day 5️⃣:
☁️float: from #dolphinpose to #babycrow 🏋🏻♀️work: #babycrowtaps ⬇️drop: to #forearmplank ⠀
🎉yay, a slightly milder task for today after yesterday’s 😳 and before the final two days! don’t worry, we’ll continue guiding and providing for you guys to keep delivering the amazing work we are seeing! if you haven’t high fived yourself yet, do that now...and throw one to your gallery neighbors too! y’all rock my socks 🧦🧦
🙋🏻♀️i’ve gotcha covered for the ‘drop’! this is a pretty simple transition, but you can level it up or tone it down! here are a few ways:
✳️1) from #babybakasana try to stay super compressed, knees high on triceps, spine rounded during your taps. you can begin to press up halfway then extend the legs midair and try to float back as lightly as possible. (i’m still a little heavy landing.)
✳️2) same notes as above, but just shooting the legs straight back while trying to stay light on landing.
✳️3) same notes again, but just floating one leg back at a time.
⚠️lots of compression required to stay tight throughout this sequence, not a bad idea to add a few core compression drills to your warm up to fire it up before getting started 🙏🏻❤️

J50/scarlet update: determined teams from fisheries and oceans canada spotted jpod again yesterday (8/8), this time in u.s. waters off the olympic peninsula northwest of neah bay, wash. they saw j50 with her mother, j16, also known as slick. it was a bittersweet sighting for the teams to also see j35, tahlequah, today, and witness the continued heartbreaking sight of her still carrying her dead calf, some two weeks since its birth. our teams from noaa fisheries, dfo, and many other essential partners are ready to respond as soon as they are within range and conditions allow them to reach the pod and assess j50’s condition.

well i'll never forget that stone
who looked like a temple of love
well i'll never forget these times
when i was yours and you were mine
dear caro, you make me look old
but in your arms i feel like 18 years old
when you slowly sleep on my knees
i can hardly stop all these tears
brought by your beautiful whispering
shall i try not to be blessed
by the kisses you gave me that day?
there's a force that i cannot drive
shall i try, shall i go for this trial
when i am yours and you are mine
when i am yours and you are mine. »
This reminds me a piece from a very wise book which i read recently. it said the happiest people are people who live in constant wonder. how many times i saw dolphins admire little twirls of bubbles in the water, floating seaweed or movement of our hands. they are happy creatures with plenty of time for playing and wondering
