Day 3. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ psoriasis spots are still present but they’re not as elevated. my skin has already improved so much, it’s already much smoother and less angry looking.
we have crazy jet leg so the schedule has been us awake at 5am, in the gym by 5.30, breakfast at 6.30 and then laying around in the room until the sun is in the pool area at about 9am. then depending on what dental appointments george has we work around that, either a late or early lunch and then back by the pool. try to stay awake as long as possible but so far 8pm-8.30 has been the latest night we’ve had. all in all the jet lag has worked well for us, it’s motivated us to use the gym and i’m actually enjoying the routine. i’ve been eating only plant based which is so easy here at the hotel, sooo many veg options available and they’ve all been delicious. i haven’t done a lot of tourist stuff yet but it’s only been 3 days. let me know if you have any suggestions! stay tuned for more skin updates 🙏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sometimes the road feels so full of obstacles and when you see them you think 'wow it's going to take a long time to get through so many'. but know that even though it will take time to get to where you're going, some obstacles you simply need to drive past, some you acknowledge and go around, some you jump over within a matter of seconds, and some you move through with little force. there may be obstacles but obstacles don't have to take a lot of time. liken them to a hill you walk across, or a stump you go around, or a door you need to open then close. imagine you're on a dirt path and there are some hills, some stumps, some doors, and some enticing fruit trees along the side. visually it may look like a lot to get through, and the mind will tell you it's going to take a lot of time. but this isn't always true. how long will it take to walk through the door? past the fruit tree? around the stump? not long.
the part that drags an obstacle out is the lingering. sometimes we linger out of fear, or even exhaustion. and sometimes we linger because we need the fuel (anyone want to stop by the fruit tree?). reaching a goal *can* take a long time. but often we put off getting started because visually, the road looks so thick with obstacles we convince ourselves it's going to be a long run. and sure, it might be. but don't let the mind fool you.
it might not.
the fastest way to get through is to get started. and then decide when to linger and when to leap. 👐
👇failure is nothing more than a chance to revise your strategy. it could be a slightly different approach, trying something new or focusing more on a particular aspect. failure is feedback not fatal. use it.
