I was so happy to finally visit the 'apple and radish' shop today. a beautiful fragrance greeted me as i entered the lovely building on southport avenue. such gorgeous hand-made soaps - that look good enough to eat! everything is eco-friendly. the hardest part about going there is that you're spoilt for choice. the easiest part is that you'll leave with unique gifts that are perfect for the festive season. 😊
Isn’t it amazing how children can teach us the simplest of things? like how fun it is to spin, to jump, to do cartwheels. to feel the grass beneath your feet and the wind in your hair. to just truly be present.
we spend so much time caught up in our own manic world that we forget to appreciate the wonder around us. and it’s just such a waste!
when was the last time you stopped to truly appreciate a beautiful view or nature at its finest? when did you last give yourself the chance to?
life is hectic. the demands are never ending. but the truth is it can all wait, sometimes it needs to.
it will all still be there waiting for you so you have to allow yourself the opportunity to break away, if only for a short while. taking time out of your daily routine to breathe some fresh air or enjoy the silence for 10 minutes isn’t selfish, it’s essential. 🍃
