Its quite easy to photograph the ocean from the air and it almost becomes a lazy way of capturing its beauty. it was such great fun shooting the massive crashing waves using my conventional camera at this crazy little spot along sydney's infamous cliff line. we stayed for half an hour just watching these birds dart across the surging swell.
i knew exactly how this edit should look and wanted to ensure the blues and textures were preserved / boosted to create this final image. stay tuned for the next tutorial of how i edited this.

‘twas a lovely sunrise. thank goodness i was able to snag some photos between the mass amounts of people claiming their spots hours in advanced with their tripods.

From one of those mornings where i was actually so happy my friends dragged me out of bed.💙
this is my phone background right now and every time i look at it it instantly takes me back to that morning. probably the main reason why i take pictures: holds on to the memories like nothing else does. ⭐️
Two rivers confluence in costa rica. the buenavista, which is loaded with aluminosilicate, and sour creek, high in acidity from volcanic activity. as they mix the drop in ph causes the aluminosilicates to aggregate. then some more science & s**t happens, turning the water blue. #miascattering
