(fyi i love all of them!). i don't post a lot of pics of myself or my family, but in light of my rant yesterday😅, i thought it would be apt to post what i think is a positive response to women being encouraged to employ extreme and costly efforts when it comes to #postpartumweightloss. my response? just eat real food & be proud; your body has performed a miraculous feat💪🏻 & you're a loving mum to your beautiful kid/s❤️. in my experience, things balance out in time if my approach to life is balanced. and if necessary, i seek professional help rather than relying on instagram “inspo” to guilt trip me into feeling rubbish about myself, leading me to fork out money for something i don't need
i eat what i like & what feels best, and that automatically means more than #5aday, thus it's not something i consider much when it comes to meal prep. but, by lucky extension, my kids tend to like a pretty wide range of things too and are far more adventurous when it comes to food than i was when i was little. some kids are naturally fussier than others (our little oliver is the fussiest of our 3, but also has the most sophisticated palate and likes olives, chilli, curry and things the others don't), and we've had food intolerances to deal with in the family, but even those issues can be worked around
i have a bunch of new recipes to share here and via my blog soon that are all about tasty, plant-packed abundance and family food, done simply. my spiced chickpea & kale avocado toast recipe is already up (see link in bio) and thank you to all those who've given kind feedback on that one! i am thrilled you like it.

One pan one man tempeh #tacos ~ when my husband announced that he was making dinner i was both excited and nervous. excited to have a break from cooking, nervous because his previous adventure in the kitchen resulted in a glass pan exploding into a million pieces. i was ready for anything!
what resulted was an impressive, no-fuss meal that was delicious and satisfying. with some leftover cooked grains on-hand, these were made in just one pan in a matter of minutes!
tempeh can be found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, right by the tofu. tempeh is simply fermented soy beans. it has the entire bean intact so it’s less processed than tofu. for those who are used to having meat, tempeh offers that familiar meaty texture. it doesn’t taste like much on it’s own but will pick up whatever flavors are in your dish. when crumbled up, like in these tacos, it often can be mistaken for ground meat.

Салат очень прост в приготовлении, а на вкус просто бомба!
Свеклу надо предварительно сварить или запечь. Добавить салат на ваш вкус, у меня руккола и айсберг(люблю его сладость и хруст), огурец, печёный перец. Все! Чтобы разбавить однородность текстур добавьте немного чёрного кунжута, тыквенных семечек и вяленой клюквы! В качестве заправки используйте яблочный уксус и тхину (вместе они работают отлично). Хватайте вилку и вперёд!
