Good morning! hope that you’re having a great week so far. we’re heading into wellness wednesday fuelled with oodles of flavourful plant powered yumminess, thanks to last night’s antioxidant packed bowlful of goodness. .
crunchy garlic and ginger rainbow stir fried veggies, doused in a light balsamic and soy sauce and mixed with freshly chopped coriander, made for a healthy, speedy, fresh and vibrant weeknight supper, which ticked all of the boxes. low in saturated fat, full of dietary fibre, it makes a great accompaniment to the protein of your choice with steamed rice or egg noodles, but is equally delicious all on its own. .

Step aside #saddesklunch salad, there’s a new ingredient in town 😉 @citizensunshine mixed palmini with vegan pesto, added it to a bed of wild arugula and topped it with micro-broccoli sprouts. now that’s what we call healthy lunch goals!

T e s t i n g 🍠 road-tested a few #lightenedup dishes for #friendsgiving and these sage brown butter yams were the jam. ⚖️you might think i’m crazy for saying these are “lightened up” when butter is in the title, but for 5 lbs of potatoes i only used a few tablespoons! 👌🏼they’re so simple (3 ingredients), it’s a refreshing rival to the heavier dishes in the line-up. 🙅🏻♀️also, i ditched the traditional marmalade bc why did that have to happen in the first place??! 💡learning: usually my trick with mashed potatoes is boiling then ricing, but the texture was a bit too soft. #thanksgivingday i plan to rice half, and hand mash the other with skins for a bit more chew.
Usually @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning cost $2(ish) but not today because i ran into tj’s for only three minutes just for the seasoning and got a parking ticket !!! the parking ticket officer was having none of my excuses :/ ugh one quick trip to tj’s ended up being $47 ... .

Seasonal grocery shopping 🌽🥝🍇 recently i am trying to mainly eat vegetables and fruits that are in season. it is much more sustainable for our planet 🌎furthermore, the seasonable groceries give you the vitamines and nutritions you just need for the corresponding season! 🌿
This tuesday i’m grateful for holistic healing. in particular acupuncture. once i started going to @drlusnourishinglife my health started to improve at a faster rate. i am grateful that once a week i can go to a place where i am giving my body the tools it needs to heal itself. it is holistic healing methods like acupuncture, diet, chiropractic, meditation and so much more that is the key to heal and keep your health thriving.😀
