Visited this afternoon 'rijksmuseum van oudheden' (the national museum of antiquities) at leiden 🇳🇱. picture of the pyramidion (uppermost piece or capstone limestone) of the egyptian grave pyramid of ptahemwia. ptahemwia was an ancient egyptian official who lived under king ramses ii in the 19th dynasty, around 1250 bc.
the hieroglyphic tekst on leftside is dedicated to ra-horakhte (deity of the sun) and osiris (deity of the afterlife), symbols of day and night. on rightside the deceased and above the jackal god anubis.
