Another glamor shot of our new pichinku kinsa, a dk-weight merino 100% ethically-sourced from local peruvian farmers and dyed by hand using only natural dyes by a team of very talented peruvian women. this is simply the loveliest, softest merino wool, perfect for sweaters, hats, mittens… anything, really. the hand is very bouncy, and the colors are tonal shades are saturated and rich. i can’t express how nice this yarn is — you’ll just have to try some for yourself! our quantities of this season’s batch are just 8 skeins for each color. if you want enough for a sweater, act fast! you’ll find kinsa at fairlightfibers.com.

It's almost unbelievable how lightweight the puffs are when
knitted up, and how soft, and hardy. this magnificent, combination of characteristics is due to the light felting of superfine zq merino we use to make the yarn ☁️ we have yarn & complementary patterns available on our blog & website that are created in collaboration with @wooldays . there is very limited stock still available on both our websites (white only, as grey is sold out!) xx
Fact: good wool makes the best pom poms. also fact: all our locally made australian merino knits are on sale (up to 50% off!). fact 3: i'm a little bit in love with wool in summer ... it's just so cool 😘
