Ornament decoration tray!
this was a fun #afterschoolactivity for the kids today! an invitation to get creative making their own ornaments in whatever way they liked.
this is a fab activity for play dates and christmas parties and is completely open ended with a lovely range of results!
plain ceramic ornaments
plain wooden ornaments
shiny star stickers
felt holly stickers .
they also added their own extras eg sharpies and glitter glue! .
they’ve hung the finished pieces on the christmas tree which i’ll take some pics of and share in the morning! lovely little keepsakes to add to the collection 😍
Omg 🌟 my boy is just getting so clever! he's gone straight to a tripod grip with a dominant hand and adjusts it for comfort!!! working in a nursery and doing alot of observing it helps watching jake's development and he is smashing it before he's even 2! 💕 well done baby boy mummy is so proud!!! 💫
Today we went to brighton sealife centre which the children were very excited about!🐟 the children showed high levels of concentration when walking around the different areas, looking at the different sea creatures and talking to one another about what they could see! what a lovely day it has been, they even had the chance to touch a starfish!🦀🐠 #brighton#sealifecentre#jellyfish#eyfs#childmindingfun#outibg#childminder#learningisfun
Day 10 - numbered baubles.
from the £1 shop i bought two sets of baubles and added numbers to them. 1-20 to support both of my children and a few higher numbers, that immy is interested in. these are the ages of some family members!! (i won’t think about my upcoming birthday too much!) you can use them for number recognition, number ordering, saying 1 more or 1 less than a number. i added spots on the back of some of the lower numbers for seb to count. #skills4school#inspireplaycreate#earlynumber#finemotorskills#eyfs#parentideas#learningthroughplay#ideasforhome
