they have recently opened their second branch in jubilee hills with lots of new and some good ol' items in the menu. .
this beeramisu was one of the most interesting desserts we were served. with a beer like barm sitting atop graciously, this one appeared exactly like a glass of beer. it retained the luscious texture of a tiramisu with subtle hint of beer's bitterness. i simply loved this! a total 5/5 ❤️ . @glocaljunction @sohyderabad @whatsaroundhyderabad @zomatoin
Plantain pieces first deep fried then sautéed with onions to make this aromatic kootu. swipe⬅️ left to see the egg curry and the eggplant raita.
the egg curry made with caramelized onions & tomatoes with a hint of tamarind was left to simmer for a while with the boiled eggs to capture all the flavours. deep fried egg plant added to flavoured yoghurt tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves made this raita so soothing and comforting. *

Happy black friday! a little something to get you through a long day of shopping. for your sake, i hope you are in your pjs, coffee in hand, browsing online... maybe with some holiday appropriate tunes playing in the background.⠀
one of our favourite cheesecakes --- spiced caramel pecan cheesecake. it is a thing of beauty. sometimes i call it a pecan pie cheesecake -- for when you can't decide between pie and cheesecake. have both.⠀
see #linkin bio for recipe... since your browsing online anyway :) you might as well plan the necessary i-got-the-christmas-shopping-done cake ⠀

There are so many unanswered questions about food! what goes into growing our food? which is better for the planet - organic produce or that grown using regenerative techniques. with so many questions on my mind, i was glad to be invited to attend the #canolaconnect harvest camp in manitoba last month.
what i learned is up on the blog now. food is more than fuel - and we should value it as mornetham just a commodity.
follow along as i find out more 💖
The cashew paste not only sweetened these chicken kofte but gave them a rich taste and a silky smooth texture which just melted in the mouth. infused with cardamom flavour and spiced up with white chilli powder and ginger garlic paste, these kofte were one of a kind. i made the curry with yoghurt, whole garam masala spices and fried onions and of course white chilli powder but no tomatoes or cashew paste coz i wanted to keep it light. the subtle flavours of the curry paired well with the rich tasting kofte ..... what more? with the saffron rice and steamed green beans (tempered with almonds) on the side, it made a sumptuous meal! alhamdulillah! *
This morning when i went to clean up my backyard, i didn’t have the heart to pull out the woody sorrel (amboti ka saag) and toss it away as i usually do. it was looking so fresh and clean after the rains. suddenly a flash back of our traditional south indian dishes made with this popular w**d popped up in my head and immediately i started picking this w**d instead.

i cooked it with shrimp letting it simmer for sometime.
Eating hot & spicy noodles acted like medicine to our cough and cold and soothed our scratchy throats for sometime at least. i am not an expert in making these, but tried to infuse flavour into the soup with whatever veggies i could find in the fridge such as king oyster & black mushrooms, shrimps, bokchoy and cabbage and of course with some soy sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp paste etc... the crispy fried chilli garlic shrimp and baked vegetable spring rolls were just the perfect sides to enjoy with our dinner meal tonight.
