Blueberry cream cheese coffee cake muffins - okay hear me out. muffins are just not it for me & so i made muffins that are it. they have crunchies on the top like a coffee cake crumble, they have cream cheese for tangy moist yummyness. they have tons of blueberries. i tested these so many times & they are so beautiful and delicious. make these muffins for even the non-muffin lovers! link in my bio

Beef döner sandwich from @ikramgrill. sooooo meaty! doesn’t get better than this! 🤤👌🏼
Who’s in for truffle pasta? it’s definitely one of my favorite dishes ever that i just need from time to time. this one straight at helmholtzplatz was the perfect balance of thick pasta, a cheesy sauce and the nutty truffle taste. it’s tossed in a flambeed grana padano btw and yep, that’s exactly what it tastes like. also, the lovely service and tasty red wine helped a lot for making this a great night out. the pasta were a tiny bit too cold when arriving but i wouldn’t call it a downside since the overall experience was just beautiful.

Inspired by the quarantine cake, we’ve been working on a new collection of casual designs so that you can show your care even for everyday occasions. we kept them simple so that you can order them same-day — and because we’re obsessive about process, you can even customize the script in that timeframe for a personal touch. ✨
a little about this design… a couple years back, my dad (this is liz btw!) asked me to make him a cake with cherry blossoms. my dad loves cherry blossoms, so much so that he visits japan every year during the cherry blossom season. without fail, he reports back to the family with a very long email describing his experience with photographic evidence — you can feel his excitement. i don’t see my parents that often (once or twice a year) since they’re no longer in the bay area, but during quarantine i’ve realized how important it is to stay connected with family and loved ones because you never know what life may throw at you. sorry it took a couple years, but this one is for you dad! ❤️ #butterand#cherryblossoms

This cookie skillet totally bakes my day! 😋🍪🐻
ingredients for making cookie skillet ( my skillet is 6.5”)
5 tbsp butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/6 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
1/3 tsp baking soda
milk chocolate & chocolate chip
1. melt salted butter on the skillet (use low to medium heat). add brown sugar and white sugar. mix until glossy. put the mixture in the fridge for 15 min
2. bring out the mixture from step 1. add egg (do not add egg when the mixture is hot. egg will become scramble- that’s why you need to chill the mixture first)
3. add vanilla extract, flour and baking soda. stir until combined.
4. fold in chocolate chip and milk chocolate
5. put in oven ( 325f) for 25-30 min (depends on the depth of skillet and how you want the center to be done. the edge of the the dough will turn golden brown when it’s cooked) - i also added marshmallows 10 min before i brought out the cookie.
I’m so here for world chocolate day, and i just love this chocolate-cherry summer treat. it’s kind of like mousse but even fluffier and lighter, which makes it great for this hot, hot time of year. 🍒🍫 clickable link in bio!
#ad#sponsored a-cacia girl on the cover of your fav cookbook 🤣
🥄 @zulay_kitchen has the best premium spatula/utensil set with authentic natural acacia hardwood handles! i’ve always used crummy spatulas/utensils in the kitchen that will stain or get to hot. these utensils don’t do either, as they’re heat resistant! i especially love the slotted spoon. so useful! it makes me get excited to cook and you will never get that from me... 😂
🤔 what’s your kitchen staple?
💸 whole set is $16.99, link in bio soon 😛
If you need your kfc (korean fried chicken) cravings filled you haaaveee to try @todakchicken 😍. this tucked away gem caught me by surprise. right when i opened the door to the restaurant it smelled heavenly of deep-fried goodness!
we got the:
honey butter garlic
this flavour was so good! a bit of sweetness from the honey but not too salty from the butter. i would prefer a stronger garlic flavour but still overall really good. it was crispy and juicy with a alot of meat (especially for take out) . i was very impressed and i can't wait to try the bbq galbi flavour next 🙈
School ended so i don't have notes to post but i'll probably post some old notes sometime soon but in the meantime i made so hk toast which is just peanut butter in the middle of a sandwich topped off with a "drizzle" (clearly not a drizzle in my case) of condensed milk
If you don’t know this pie, it’s time to meet 🥧 banoffee = bananas, dulce de leche, espresso, whipped cream, graham c*****r crust 🍌 (📸:@new_fork_city )

Palitaw. ❤️ made with glutinous rice flour and sprinkled with grated coconut, sugar and toasted sesame seeds ❤️
today, i enjoyed quinoa kimbap from @ganchic 🥢 these colorful rolls are made with clean, whole ingredients, and i highly recommend them if you’re looking for a way to brighten up your weekday wfh lunch or mid-afternoon desk snack 🌈 i tried the thai chicken with coconut curry & the oh shiitake with chili maple sauce. both delicious, though i think the shiitake may have been my fave.
they deliver across the los angeles area. let me know if you order some 😊
Today's dinner was a sensation, mainly due to the quality of the produce used.
pan roasted duck with caramelised orange sauce served with hasselback potatoes, roasted beetroot & leek and steamed carrots.
seen so many people doing hasselback potatoes lately and just had to jump on the bandwagon. they do not disappoint!
the @gressinghamduck b****t portions are amazingly affordable and superb quality.
this was my first time using a sauce from @thebaytreefoodco but will not be my last. it was incredible, i can think of so many uses.

The recipe below is a keto friendly friendly version of my bolognese. it has a lot less tomatoes and onion than a usual bolognese but it's just as delicious.
i split this into three portions and found them to be quite generous but i guess it's a 2 portion recipe.
250g lamb mince
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp olive oil
100g chesnut mushrooms
100g tinned tomatoes
300 ml vegetable stock (1 stock cube, 300 ml water)
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic granules
salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
brown mince in 1 tbsp of olive oil and set aside.
chop onion and saute in 1 tbsp of olive oil until softened and translucent (around 6-8 minutes)
add chopped mushrooms to the pan and fry for around 5 minutes or until they are tender and brown around the edges. do this on a medium heat. you want to saute the mushrooms and not steam them.
add thyme, garlic, black pepper and worcestershire sauce to the onion and mushroom mixture and stir before adding the mince to the pan.
stir for a couple of minutes and then add the chopped tomatoes and stock. bring to the boil and then simmer for 35-40 minutes until the sauce is thick and gloopy.
i didn't need to add salt because there was plenty from the stock. i would recommend tasting before adding.
i had this over 3 days (my version of meal prep 😁) and served it with different sides (courgetti, cauliflower mash and salad).
there was also a liberal helping of cheese grated over each serving. because if i'm going to do keto, i'm going to do it properly 😁
